Activision Blizzard leaders didn’t appreciate jokes that poked fun at greedy corporate execs via a conniving, scampering, and loot-obsessed character in World of Warcraft, so much so they fired the game designer who wrote the little goblin’s voice lines.

Yep, I'm sure Diablo 4 is a great game. I'm also sure that I'm glad I didn't purchase it. I know it won't make much difference, but I refuse to contribute any sales/money to Blizzard.

I don't know about part 3 but it sounds like 4 is more multi-player based and the micro transactions sound like a blast.

I'd rather go get a used copy of 3 never bought it. I believe there's 3 different versions released with dlc just never looked into which one was the most complete

N4G is such a bizarre website. You either have the "company has crossed the line with shady business practices and lacklustre games" crowd or you have the "wHy CaNt YoU lEt PeOpLe JuSt HaVe FuN?" crowd.

Personally, I don't see what Diablo 4 is doing that is any better or more innovative than what Grim Dawn already did 7 years ago.

same, i very much want to at least dabble in diablo 4 a little bit but fuck it, i'm not going to and i don't trust blizzard to deliver a good game anyway. they specialize in digital storefronts now and grindfests.

It's easy to see why someone reflected and got him fired. Top suits pack too much ego to let that slide. Any manager with a brain would ask for these jokes' removal or adjustment; not fire a seasoned designer.

Im almost 100 percent certain this was not the real reason. It was the reason given to u probably by the person fired.

This is exactly why I will never spend another penny on their products. Last Blizzard product I bought was Diablo 3.
