This thing is DOA to western publishers even Ubisoft just ported their old junk to it, here Rayman Legends a game that's 4 years old and Steep a game that's been in the bargain bin since release. Even the Japanese developers are absent you have Nagoshi(Yakuza,Sega) coming on the stage to say ye we know the switch exists. Capcom's effort is a 8 year old port of a 20 year old game that has 2 new sprite colors for 40$, they couldnt even be bothered to make a MonsterHunter port like they did for WiiU.

What sense would it make for Nintendo to drop 3DS when they know their profits are largely from 3DS? Particularly when their last home console couldn't move 15 million regardless of a year head start on PS4 and Xbox One?

Nvidia shield ran the Prequel so I can't see why they couldn't get this up and running on a technical level (with compromises).

The Prequel is a cross-generation game made for the Ps3 and Xbox 360, the new one will be a current generation only game, so my best guess is that the Switch can't run it without making too many compromises.

thing is, the switch is already sold out almost everywhere (pre orders), its rather cheap yea but the Accessoires and games are already more expensive than before and card ridges .... man, almost every game is over 20 gb already. ..dont get me wrong but i lost alot of my gameboy games lol no parent is too keen on buying a game 3 times. their main audience is and always will be kids. but not even my lil cousins (9 and 11) play nintendo stuff, the trend is ps4/xbox, maybe not the main audience but i rather buy a competent game console than something i have to pay a wooping $80 for a set of controllers for. i guess i got abit to carried away, but if ur a game dev, u want space and a certain power for ur games. as much as u can get right, the borderland games are huge, even on ps3. ugh. anyways.
maybe we are finally to old for all the marios and zeldas. i dont see myself ever getting the switch, not for smash, not for any other game

Can they not approach this like the Nintendo DS? That has a wide range of random games that aren't related to any big AAA publishers.

Get Pokemon in there, get WarioWare on there, Fire Emblem etc. Just tell the people that it replaces the DS.

I played about 15 minutes of the pre-sequel, then deleted it from Steam.

I like how he tries to shift the blame to Nintendo, lol. As if they would reject anybody who wanted to make titles for the Switch.
