Warning, saying something good about TLG is bad... The Better title would be Trico shouldnt feel this real. Why did they do this and not a mindless beast that a hit with a stick to move?

Just had a discussion with my coworkers on this game and they had a difficult time with Trico, I didn't because I have a dog - trying to hint where I want him to be or go and eventually Trico picks up just like my dog. Interesting game so far, just not a fan of the controls.

Shouldn't we be trying not to get these clickbait stories any its. Could have sworn that was your sirloin a few mintues ago.

Having a dog animal that supposedly acts real so it doesnt listen to a lot of commands in critical moments of a game isn't and shouldn't be celebrated.

And i dont buy it. I think it doesn't listen or follow commands cause just like the frame rate and the camera the game design is flawed and still stuck in last gen.

Oh, only negative articles can be clickbait? Not articles that pander and cater to fanboys that dont state the obvious critical flaws and designs of a game. The reviews that give this game a perfect 10 that overlook a ten year delay and still releases with technical issues is considered not clickbait because it's positive.

Dude it is on purpose I have two dogs a red nose pitbull and a golden lab/pit mixed. The mixed golden lab ive had since he was a puppy and he's probably 7 or 8 now and the red nose i got when he was a little over 1 and now is 4 both are house trained and well behaved but they never ever listen to me every time I call them or need them to do something because they aren't mindless their living breathing animals. Ueda has stated in interviews for a long time that he was going for a similar thing and playing the game now it blows my mind how eerily real trico is and how much he reminds me of my own dogs especially the red nose. There's a reason most reviews even ones who weren't really into the game have stated that trico is probably the best and most life like a.i. they've ever seen in a game and I would Def have to agree trico really is eerily uncanny and life like but wonderful

Did Ueda also state how he was trying to make the camera as god awful as possible? How about the frames dropping to a crawl? Those are life like of a crappy game too.

Having a game dog that you command that is critical to game play that on purpose doesn't listen shouldn't be applauded. Funny because i remember gamers complaining about AI partners in other games that didn't do what they were commanded but this time it's genius.

It plays like ico and sotc but with a better story imo. Like a hybrid 👌👍

you're crazy if you believe the story is better than ICO or Sotc. i just finished the game and the story is my biggest complaint.

i can accept Ueda's control design to mimic real life movements. he's chosen that direction for the previous two games. i can accept Ueda's decision on how his camera works to show us how he wants us to see his game. i've been a fan of ICO before it was was even a cult classic. however, the Last Guardian's story was disappointing. it was just TOO VAGUE AND BARE...even for Ueda's modus operandi.

playing ICO and Sotc, a person can easily write a decent length narrative to detail the story. last guardian fails in this respect. the story appears to incorporate more complex ideas and thoughts, yet there was less told (or shown) here than ICO's simple disneylike fairytale or SotC's grimms-like fairytale.
