ThisGenGaming says "The bad news just keeps on coming for Dead Rising 4 as we can confirm the main story is the shortest Dead Rising game to date, even without timers."
Daily Video Game writes: "Today, Xbox Store has just kicked off three new digital game sales for Xbox Series X/S and Xbox One gamers that offer steep discounts on Achievement Hunter and action RPG games, as well as games for those with a $20 budget."
Over the last week, Jake has been going back to the Dead Rising 2 Off The Record remaster and has been an absolute blast. When he was 15 he first got his Xbox 360 and Dead Rising with it, it was unlike any other experience. It made him wonder though, what happened to the Dead Rising series.
Interesting timing. This retrospective was released just a few days ago: https://youtu.be/Et-cKSrWuc...
They took away the depth and charm of the game that made it fun and interesting, and made it into a generic zombie killing game.
This was the series the got me to buy an Xbox 360. The first one was so good. It still had horror elements. As it went on it became kind of a parody. Never forget getting Zombie Genecider achievement and then restarting the game to get the Mega Buster. That thing was monstrous against enemies.
The Humble Capcom Mega Bundle is out now. It features Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen, Resident Evil HD, Dead Rising 4, Mega Man Legacy Collection 1, and more.
Length is no measure of value. People can complain if they wish but those are the same individuals that think Golden Corral is a great place to eat. More does not inherently equal better. I will take short and sweet over long and mediocre any day.
Microsoft been robbing us with their games. Gears ultimate is 100$ with game and season pass, and then they release a 20$ dlc that is within "season" and season pass owners still have to pay for it. Then in forza they have another 100$ deal "Forza Horizon 2 Ultimate Edition Includes: Forza Horizon 2, VIP Pass, and Car Pass" and then they release another dlc thats 30$ but 10$ off for ultimate owners. Not sure what Dead Rising 4 has but im starting to see a trend and this year confirmed my buying habits for next year around this time and I will wait.
Dead Rising does have replay value however. Crafting, exploring new areas and certain side missions you might not see in the first playthrough.
All of the games have been about 7 hours long with the timer going. As long as it's fun i'm game to go.
