COG writes - Ginger: Beyond the Crystal has its roots firmly planted in some of the best platformers of yesteryears but falls short with some dated graphics and hiccups.
After some time on Nintendo eShop, Anima: Arcane Edition (which includes the two installments of the series) and Ginger: Beyond the Crystal make the leap to physical format.
It's like a potato was used for the porting process...
Ginger has a lot of promise, but immediately disappoints with the tutorial, and while it gets a bit better afterward, it never elevates from manageable. With all of the platforming greats on Switch, don't fall for this one's ruse.
