Is Final Fantasy XV's Delay Cause for Concern?

Well so far I've always held Japanese games to higher standards so this one is no different. It's final fantasy xv...yeah I'm buying it day 1.

WoFF looks like a mockery of the old school games and fans. If they wanted to go more for an FF9 look where character's physical proportions were actually part of the "fantasy" aspect of the game as opposed to this cutesy bullshit, that would have been effing awesome. There is real charm in that, unlike what ive seen of either WoFF or FFXV.

A two month delay isn't all that concerning. Just a few touch ups here and there and no day one patches.

I'd be more alarmed if they delayed it by half a year because they were so displeased by the current state of their product.

With the anime's and movies made already, I think this was a financial move b/c they didn't want to go head to head w P5 in Japan. Destiny is the only real competition in the US.

So they pick a release just after everything has released and b4 Christmas.

it wasn't. watch the gameplay and you'll see how the FPS is unstable, the foliage in the distance looks horrible, textures looks flat for some reason and a lot of flash animations. Tabata wants a COMPLETED game on release, not some broken ass piece of shit. The move wasn't financial.

Tabata said the game needs more polishing and from the 50 min gameplay I understand now. A 3 month wait ain't that far anyway, literally this year is going QUICK

Look at the gameplay again. The FPS was unstable, foliage in the distance looks like it came out of DayZ on low settings, textures are disgustingly flat and some other shit. The game looks good, but it could do with more polishing.

I wish developers would stop announcing games until they are near completion, know their target date won't move. The reveal to launch of a title like Fallout 4 was perfect... if only we knew they were turning it into a shooter with poorly implemented crafting/building.
