Hardcore Gamer: Goichi Suda, better known as Suda51, has undoubtedly contributed some of the most imaginative video games in the history of the medium. Whether it’s the cerebral thrills of Killer7 or the over-the-top action of No More Heroes, Suda51 has brought the arthouse to games. Although he’s been working for nearly twenty-five years, Suda51 is showing no signs of slowing down and is remastering the classic The Silver Case for release this fall. In celebration of this release, we’ve decided to curate a limited run series dubbed “Summer of Suda,” which will take a look back of some of his most memorable games, evaluating what they contributed at the time of their release and how history looks back at them today.

Man, I’d love to get a sequel. I wish that’s was this was instead of a remaster, but it’s such a niche title. It won’t sell gamgbusters, unfortunately.

Syndicate was a fun and high quality late PS3 fps that got swallowed in the sea of fps at the time. It was short and it didn't innovate but it had good visuals and fun combat. Starbreeze i believe. Rip Torn and Rosario Dawson.
I actually liked this game a lot. It's the only Suda game I've played but I love the b-movie references.
Loved the game ,this was the second collaboration between Suda 51 & Shinji Mikami .
Suda is definitely unique love his bizarre games.
Criminally underrated, it was a shame that it got shafted. However, even if it did succeed it was under EA so it was still between a rock and a hard place.
I've enjoyed everything by this developer, even others not mentioned like lollipop chainsaw and killer is dead.
