Fallout 4 looks glorious with these mods

Imgur’s member ‘Harry101UK‘ has shared the following images, showcasing how amazing Fallout 4 can actually look with some mods. What’s really interesting here is that Harry101UK used only three – yes three – mods. The end result is amazing, so be sure to view the images.

Too lush, immersion broken. 5/10

joab7773297d ago

I wouldn't mind a fallout in an area that wasn't so radiated. Also, I'd love a fallout with actual textures, though I'm on PS4 so...

JackOfAllBlades3297d ago

Yeah I was mostly joking. A lot of hardcore fans of the series won't use any mod that isn't lore friendly.

Erik73573297d ago

Even then, after several hundred years its not this wouldn't be what it would look like.

This should be how it looks like.

I have a few of them on mine, namely the fallout 4 seasons - summer edition which I think looks spot on but it does cost you a few frames admittedly. I do find that the green actually added to my personal immersion and enjoyment seeing as though Chernobyl only 30 years later still has all its grass and lush greenery -- pic related: https://d.ibtimes.co.uk/en/... .I'm on PC but hopefully they will find away to bring some graphics mods for the console users so they can enjoy it as well, although they would have to be much less intensive.

@ Fries1223

You clearly have not seen what Chernobyl looks like today...

I love how you get downvoted for a joke. People are too literal. I love playing on PC for all the mods. Mine doesn't look too far off from all the screenshots. Plus I have modded inis as well, 10x the shadow resolution, set the uGridsToLoad to 15 so snipers can actually snipe

never4get3297d ago (Edited 3297d ago )

This should be compulsory on PC minus Chromatic Aberration.

pyroxxx3297d ago

Looks pretty,.. problem is game runs like shit even without it,.. but I'll bite and try it out.

OoglyBoogly3296d ago

What GPU do you have? The Idaho Potato? I was running this game at 4K with a single R9 290X on launch day. Things have ONLY improved since then.

iNFAMOUZ13296d ago

4770k/gtx980, hes right it still runs like shi*

-Foxtrot3297d ago

Would be nice have a title with a little more green in it. Either a main game or DLC where you are within a forest like area surrounded by mountains/hills which have shielded the place from the bombs

-Foxtrot3297d ago

I mean a full map, not a small section

_-EDMIX-_3296d ago

Well I'd say Fallout 4 for the most part actually has more color in its art direction then Fallout 3.

Maybe the Fallout game Obsidian might be making. After 14 million units, I expect them to be having Obsidian do another game.

ShadowKnight3297d ago (Edited 3297d ago )

Looks decent I guess

Fallout 4 on Switch 2 seems inevitable, but what about Starfield?

A Fallout 4 Nintendo Switch 2 port seems like an inevitability, but what about other Bethesda RPGs like Starfield.

I think all games will end up on switch from Xbox. MS has embraced going to other platforms now if games aren't doing well on Nintendo MS may be more selective in the future

On playstation they have been quite successful

anast61d ago

I'm not sure too many people want to play Starfield.

Profchaos61d ago

Phils all but confirmed they are going in hard with the switch 2

TheColbertinator61d ago

All are welcome to Switch 2. Microsoft Games Studios is interested in long term profits and market value not petty fanboy thoughts.

Starfield is actually a RPG. Bethesda hasn't done that in a while.

GhostScholar163d ago

People acted like starfield was so less interesting than fallout and drastically different, but I call bs on that. Both are decent games, but they are both filled with the appearance of things to do and items to interact with but 99 percent are just there to be there with no significance. Fallout has better character work but they are both sort of illusions that they’re vast.

Shiore2u162d ago

Studio has been going downhill since Skyrim. Every following game gets dumbed down more than the previous. I'll be shocked if Elder Scrolls VI even has dialogue options.

anast162d ago

Fallout 4 was bad, real bad. Starfield might even be a better RPG.

trez1082162d ago

Fallout 4 wasn’t a great fallout game per se but real bad? I don’t know maybe I’m a little biased because I replied it not long ago and had fun with it.
