This is an opinion piece that has zero bearing on production of the hypothetical 12th installment of Tomb Raider.
The animated Netflix series is a sequel to Shadow of the Tomb Raider. Also, Netflix distributed this show, the company uses external production companies for most of its content. The show doesn’t provide a template for Crystal Dynamics [who was credited in production of the show], the Lara in the show is the one from the 2013 reboot series, and wasn’t reimagined for the show.
A perfect buleprint to be considered for awards you mean. Yeah, this will pander perfectly.

I know what you mean, but I wouldn't be opposed to seeing her play a slightly more mature version of the character. She's only 42 so still fine for all the action scenes.
The series is an abomination, and if she had anything about her, having read the script..... she should of declined.

Lara is a fullblown lesbian crybaby in the anime, another character that was completely a ladies man has been made gay and is now her bff moral support, surely we only care about her tits instead of character development.

Okay I didn't know that but what about the rest I said?....Lara was one of the strongest most badass protagonist in gaming and now she just cries half of the show. If that's a version of Lara that you want, more power to you, it's not for me.

The only Tomb Raider games that Go and the isometric dungeon crawlers could be better than is Angel of Darkness and the GBA one. Rise of The Tomb Raider was better than the reboot in every conceivable way. The combat system was more refined, the graphics were more refined, the tombs had more content and were more complex, there were more tombs, there are more game modes, more unlocks in the game adding replayability. The story was more put together, and more compelling imo.
I think the list should look more like this.
