Elgato’s Game Capture HD60 Pro To be Showcased for First Time at TwitchCon

EB: Elgato’s latest game capture hardware, the Game Capture HD 60 Pro, will make its debut at TwitchCon this weekend. Unlike Elgato’s other capture devices, the HD60 Pro will be an actual PC card, so it is exclusive to PCs and can’t be used with consoles. Although the press release does mention that you can stream “Xbox, Playstation, and Wii U” gameplay with it, so the message is a bit confusing. I’m sure the PC master race will figure it out.

Elgato unveils their latest capture device, the HD 60 Pro

Keith from The Outerhaven writes: For the past few days, Elgato has been teasing something new on their website, a new capture device of sorts. However the hints have been cryptic and only those select few that have been testing this device, for the better portion of two months even knew what was going on and what it was and of course they weren't talking.

But that wait is over today, as Elgato has announced the HD 60 Pro, a PCIe card that will allow you to stream and record from your PlayStation, Xbox or Wii U directly from your PC. Looks like exactly what you already have with the Elgato HD 60, but now you have the option of having it permanently attached to your PC.
