Hitman Episode 1 is the new structure of IO Interactive's new take on the Hitman series, designed to address all the hoo-hah surrounding Absolution, and take a wildly different approach to how Squ-Enix usually publish games. It offers the player much larger open levels with multiple options for entry, new opportunities, as well as a slightly more in-depth planning stage. A whole lot of focus goes onto the replayability aspect, unlocking more items and drop-points as you complete challenges, as well as offering the community the ability to create their own contracts to challenge each other. The replayability is a critical point, because the first episode only includes a single main story mission with just one large level. Its risky business to split a game into this many pieces, and offers what could potentially be very little - particularly if they get the replayability value wrong.

Good Game: "Hitman Absolution got mixed reviews, but It's one of my all time favourite stealth games. This retains much of the humour and world ideas that I loved about Absolution, but also feels more focused."
