From GameWatcher: "Bombshell launched late last week for the PC, with various publications proclaiming it a major dud, including our very own Dustin Bailey, who gave it a 4.5/10 saying “Bombshell isn’t the worst game I’ve ever played, but it’s among the most dull and uninteresting.”. It didn't fare much better with Steam's user reviews, but at least it's a little bit more mixed than the average score of 41 on Metacritic."
3D Realms’ Frederik Schreiber and Scott Miller expect to see “faster loading times, faster streaming, better AI,” and more.
“it will allow faster loading times, faster streaming, better AI, and, of course, 60 FPS and 4K much more often.”
Having 4K 60fps much more often sounds great.
Oh gamingbolt, who else to tell me the same predictable vague story every single week?
3D Realms VP Frederik Schreiber feels we are "at least 20 years" away from being at a stage where Stadia will be a properly viable and widespread gaming solution.
Stadia won't exist in 20 years, it will be lucky to last more than a couple years really.
Playing locally is better than playing on a computer many many miles away. Every time. Doesn’t matter if it is Stadia, xCloud, or PS Now.
Customers will decide which is the better option. In this time and age average internet bandwidth will not allow a comparable expoerience between Stadia and consoles. For some people might be a good alterantive to buying expensive hardware .. i will stick with PS5 and XBOX2 as I like to own what I pay for.
Peace
3D Realms VP Frederik Schreiber feels the next generation of Xbox and PlayStation will outmatch the Stadia’s specs “by far”.
Stadia could be the most powerful computer ever built and it wouldn't matter if latency kills the experience.
They don't even need to be, if they make Stadias a super computer. Nintendo, Sony, and Microsoft, have already established a base consumer. They will buy their console, for the brand, and the games. Microsoft, is going to be interesting next gen. Not to say Sony won't be, I just think, like Nintendo, they are doing their own thing. Going down a, less traditional path. I will have to wait and see.
Stadia will attract the odd casual. I just can't see it taking a piece of the Xbox/ PlayStation/ Nintendo pie.
LOL I smell damage control.
