Yakuza Kiwami has been out for a couple of days in Japan, and local store managers are reporting that the PS4 version is selling a lot more than the PS3 one, as a further sign that the adoption of Sony’s newer console is becoming more and more solid in the archipelago of the rising sun.

Of course, Japanese gamers have been quickly upgrading to PS4s since the price drop and the PS4 version has a Yakuza 6 demo. This is a very big year for the PS4 in every region

That's pretty surprising considering the number of PS3's in Japan. A good portent for PS4 and consoles in general for Japan. Doubly good if that eventually means more Japanese support.
