I don't agree with the opening sentence. You could always play Super Mario Galaxy on Wii U, it just happens to be downloadable now

Should probably be an option to use either Gamepad and/or Pro Controller - for those (unlike me) who don't own a Wii Remote and Nunchuck.

The game is one of the best Wii remote and nunchuck games available. They were made for each other. Some people struggle but it's how they made it, very near perfect.

I'll just stick to my disc version tho where's the GameCube games that aren't actually available elsewhere currently other than a GameCube.

Agreed. Don't get me wrong, I owned the Wii from launch and championed Motion Control - particularly Motion Plus - and am still gutted Zelda U won't be following in the tradition of Skyward Sword, but I just feel the option should have been included...that is until I was reminded *above* about the pointer controls.

Either way, SMG 1 & 2 - bona fide classics.

This was the last Mario game I played. Sunshine was beautiful but didn't feel as good as Mario 64. Galaxy was a big disappointment for me. I'm not saying it's a bad game but it didn't have anything I liked.

I was once a huge Nintendo fan, but I'll always remember this was the nail in the coffee for me.

Funny, because (for me) if Mario looked like that I would probably quit my long, long time support of Nintendo. Nintendo do Nintendo best - SM3DW a perfect example.

Nintendo has been lazy with these ports. Not implementing the Pro Controller as an option just shows they lack the time and money to "enhance" these games...

but then people complain about ps2 downloads on ps4 with enhance graphics, trophy support, and all other support that is standard with any ps4 game...and it's cheaper.

I would've bought several of these gamecube games for the wii u had they simply gave me pro controller support, but they still can't find a way to get my money...

its not a port, all wii games are already backwards compatible theyre just allowing you to buy it on the eshop now.
