Major Nelson:
Ever since we announced Backward Compatibility was coming to Xbox One the number one question I get asked is, “What games are going to be available?” That question has finally been answered.
Today Mike Ybarra, Director of Program Management for Xbox, announced the first 104 titles coming to Xbox One Backward Compatibility when the feature launches as part of the New Xbox One Experience on 12 Nov.
Did Bungie actually hate Halo Wars? Why wasn't Master Chief in the game? Lead designer Dave Pottinger reveals all.
GF365: "Oftentimes, video games have characters who are antagonistic and really not very pleasant. Here are some of the friendliest characters in games where you might not otherwise expect to find them."
Halo Wars is still widely considered one of the best and most accessible RTS games around, and that formula could work with other Microsoft IPs.
I think Crackdown would fit in a more turn-based tactics system via Xcom then a RTS type game play. Being able to customize multiple agents, deploying that group in an crime infested urban zone, going against other super powered enemy and fodder type thugs. The potential for that is huge if they won't do another successful, ground breaking, GOTY open world outing like Crackdown 3....
Finally the list leaked few games ago was really fake. There are many similarities but many differences too.
Quite underwhelming but remember they will add more each month including Call of Duty!
"Our launch of 104 titles on Nov. 12 is just the beginning. You can expect new Xbox One Backward Compatible games to be announced on a regular basis, starting in December. More titles are on the way, including fan favorites like Halo Reach, Halo Wars, Call of Duty: Black Ops, Bioshock, Bioshock 2, Bioshock Infinite and Skate 3. Stay tuned because this just the beginning of a long list of Xbox 360 games that will run on Xbox One."
I know I'll be busy with Stick of truth.
Sweet One thing I want to know is dose this include DLC. For example I had Alan Wake with all the DLC dose this come across too?
pretty poor list for me personally as ive got all the bigger titles on 360 , good to hear some of them are coming in december though.
