Ubisoft saw a chance to really shake up a part of the game between launch last year and The Crew Wild Run dropping in a few weeks, so they chose to revamp the game's graphics engine.
"Amazon has added game deals for October 24th. Deals include Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End $37, The Crew Wild Run Edition $20, Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance $9 and lots more!"
"Amazon has added new game deals for this weekend. Deals include Halo 5: Guardians – Limited Edition $29, Call of Duty Modern Warfare Collection $14, The Crew Wild Run Edition $20 and lots more!"
"Amazon has added new game deals for August 4th. Deals are Doom $30, The Crew Wild Run Edition $20, Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA X $40 and lots more!"
It definitely needed it. I played 6 hours or so then sold it. Not just because of graphics, although I was shocked at how ugly it was...
just remember this was the game that literally broke my xb1 as it was so bad. doubt I'll be buying it again ever.
This game was so bad I don't know why they continued with it. Doesn't compare to NFS, DiRT, Forza Horizon, or DriveClub at any level.
I bought the game around 7 months ago and enjoyed the game. I played it for around 20 hours and almost finished the story mode. As soon as I found out about the graphic update I took a break from the game so that the majority of my playtime will be with the graphics update. I was surprised that they did something like that after the game launched. The game really need it visually. It looks quite good with the uodate now.
Just around the time they realized the game was rushed out and looked like crap. They resigned it so someone could buy it because they lost so much money on it they needed to recoup thier loses.
