Glitch Cat - Overall, The Park is a decent yet ultimately average narrative-driven adventure game, as the plot is hit and miss, the game isn’t quite scary, and the experience isn’t as memorable as you’d expect. While there are some good ideas here and there, and some parts are genuinely fantastic, especially the last area of the game, it’s a short and linear game that you’ll play once and move on. There’s potential here, for sure, but as it stands, The Park isn’t as fun a ride as it should be.
"The Park is essentially a linear, slow-paced walking-sim that sees you in the shoes of Lorraine, a mother who braves the closed amusement park to retrieve her son, Callum, a young boy who had mysteriously run into the park after its closed, in search of his lost stuffed bear." Jeff Young - Analog Stick Gaming
A game that should be played in the dark but makes you want to turn on the lights is one of the best kinds of games out there. The Park almost fits that bill.
