The Legend of Zelda: Tri Force Heroes attempts to be the new Four Sword Adventures, but falters. There's potential here, but repetitive dungeon crawling hampers things, as does a solo experience that's often too tedious or taxing and multiplayer that needs certain conditions to succeed.
The average Zelda sequel is unique, creative, and emblematic of everything that makes the franchise so engrossing. Then there’s Tri Force Heroes.
They should have just given us Four Swords Adventures 2. They already had a winning formula for co op, not sure why they tried to change it.
