I really hope not. They have one of the most Jaw Dropping engine that is Pantha Ray engine that i always pronounce wrong.

Seriously, the lighting in that engine is beast ad visuals in general looks amazing. It will be a damn shame if its RE7.

My guess its Resident Evil 2 Remake.

gantarat3122d ago

I expect FF7 Remake or DMC 5.

DarkOcelet3122d ago

I really hope FF7 Remake use Luminous Engine. Seriously that would piss me off.

DMC isn't coming that's for sure. Probably RE2 which should be good.

I really disliked UE3 games last gen with the annoying texture pop in everywhere you went. That said UE4 is not UE3 and expect FFVII and RE2 to look absolutely amazing especially giving the fact they can build it straight up on stronger hardware as the PS4 instead of nerfing it down to X1. Exciting times for Sony!!

It's either RE2 remake or FFVII remake, either way the UE4 engine is capable of beautiful visuals. Allison Road also looks seriously realistic on UE4.

isn't Street Fighter 5 confirmed to be UE4? Or is SF5 not considered AAA?

Or maybe the new Gears of War?

DarkOcelet3122d ago

KH3/SFV/Tekken 7 are on UE4. But this is another AAA title.

And yes SFV is a AAA title.

SUCKxITxEZ3122d ago

What if it was a new Timesplitters!?!?!

morganfell3122d ago

He may not mean announced by Capcom. Yoshida has stated Sony Bend is developing their biggest title ever, a AAA game using Unreal 4 that is hinted to be announced at PSX in December.

DarkOcelet3122d ago

I totally forgot about that. You are right about that. Guess the mystery is solved.

8BitSoul3122d ago

I never understood why they made the engine in the first place if they didn't intend to use it for their own games. I'm not a programmer or anything, but I can only assume that developing a new engine is hard. With that said, Deep Down, which is the only game I've seen running on the engine so far, looks incredible!

DarkOcelet3122d ago

I am pretty sure they will use it on most of their future games.

Resident Evil 7 must be on that engine. It looks jaw dropping. I can imagine RE7 reaching CGI levels with that engine.

_-EDMIX-_3122d ago

Agreed, I'm pretty sure years ago when PS4 was announced and Deep Down was first show, they stated an RE game was being made with panta rhei. My guess would be RE7.

Insomnia_843122d ago

Sony Bend's new game is using UE4 I think.

gantarat3122d ago

it's can be anything not resident evil 7 only.

Well,If RE 7 Use Unreal Engine 4 then R.I.P. Phanta Rhei.

JMaine5183122d ago (Edited 3122d ago )

Sony Bend's games is usin UE4 right?

ThatEnglishDude3122d ago

Just no, Resident Evil. You're embarrassing yourself.

spicelicka3122d ago

Wait what about Gears of war 4? I would assume that would be obvious one considering their history.

Letsplayhalo3122d ago

Gears 4 is already announced. This is an unannounced game expected to be revealed b the end of the year.

Why Epic's Win Against Apple And Google Paves The Way For The Future Of Mobile Gaming

Epic Games winning its cases against both Apple and Google is shaping the way forward for the future of mobile gaming.

shinoff218344d ago

I feel alot of mobile gamers are kids which will at some point probably turn to console or pc. Mobile gaming just doesn't cut it for me.

AlterRecs43d ago

tru dat, but i feel like it's gonna be a lot more viable for people who travel a lot or don't want to invest in a full gaming rig. Think of it as a Switch on drugs, with a LOT more room for free illegal downloads.

Apple to Reinstate Epic Games' iOS Developer Account Paving the Way for Fortnite's Return to iPhone

Epic Games scored a win against Apple as the iPhone's manufacturer is being forced by the European Commission to reinstate Epic's iOS developer account, paving the way for the return of Fortnite to the platform.

UltimateOwnage47d ago

Beh. Tim Sweeney is such a pain. He's always trying to force Apple to play by his rules. He should make his own phone, and launch his own app store there and see if he can make it viable. Options are nice, unless they're parasitic, i.e. Epic Games / CCP.

anast47d ago

"He should make his own phone, and launch his own app store."

This is the future of gaming.

jznrpg47d ago (Edited 47d ago )

I hope not I hate gaming on phones

cammers199547d ago

Sorry that apple isn't able to get away with being corrupt.

Abriael46d ago (Edited 46d ago )

Imagine being on Apple's side in basically anything. 😂
