Today’s new Xbox One bundle announcement includes not one, but two new bundles – the Xbox One Special Edition Gears Of War Bundle, available this November and the Xbox One With Kinect Bundle, available this October.

I agree, because it should come with a 1TB drive. The console itself is lovely though. Looks sweet in white. But If it were me, I would probably have to go but an external HDD, before I even connect to my TV. 500GB gets filled pretty fast.

You wouldnt go for a forza or halo edition 1TB? I would be hunting one of those down for sure. The games can be bought at anytime, but those two are by far the best looking XB1s to date.

Even with a 1 TB, I think most people would have to get an external HD. Unless you want to keep deleting and downloading games that is. I have a 4TB external HD and it has been a lifesaver!

Agreed. I have a samsung 4TB drive attached to mine. I havent filled the 1TB yet, though I hear the OS runs faster when you drop all your games on the external. I just been too lazy to actually move my games, and I still have just over 270 GB on the internal, so its not like im rushing to do it. And I do delete my single player games once Im done with them. They all show up in my 'ready to install' list along with my BC X360 games.I am a bit OCD about unused apps on HDDs, even on my PCs. What does not get played regularly get relegated to the ready to install list.

On that note. Kudos to MS on that particular feature. Its nice to see such organization. I can re-download my old games without having to search the store for them.

I really don't understand the white console with Gears of War of all games...it doesn't fit at all! Red would make much more sense for that particular bundle. They must have a lot of the white Sunset OD consoles left, so they are repackaging them with GOW. That is my best guess.

I have my fingers crossed (probably in vain..) that the Xbox One Kinect bundle sells a decent amount. I absolutely love my Kinect, and would really like to see some new games and support for it!

Realistically Kinect is useless for games, but its great mic i hate wearing headsets so uncomfortable. I just talk into it works great and you hear the person through the tv and kinect.

You may need it for Cortana if its comes out with the new Window 10 dashboard for xbox one.

yeah.. i used kinect as my mic when i first got it, actually surprised how well it works.. but i do believe you will need kinect for Cortana

You have to have Kinect to use Cortana at all on Xbox One. The barrier only exsists on Xbox One however as Windows 10 PCs can use Cortana with any microphone or keyboard.

You most definitely need Kinect to use Cortana. I am excited for that, but really what I want is more games. Kung-Fu: High Impact was an amazing Kinect game for the 360. I keep hoping for a sequel for the XB1, but realize that is most likely never going to happen. I don't think the Kinect is useless for games at all. The trick is, a game has to either be Kinect or not. I think the games that try to be "both" are the ones that tend to fail.

Yes a Fallout Bundle would be a fitting end to this promotion of bundles. Unless they will just give us an Elite Bundle with some games thrown in. I don't know. I'm hoping for the Fallout bundle though.

This Gears of War White bundle would have been better if it was 1TB and included Sunset Overdrive as well. Since all of the Sunset Overdrive bundle systems were sold out after it launched. That would be more fitting and keep the price the same.

A custom XB1 FO4 console was already made and seen back in late AUG so it wouldn't surprise me if the bundle is using the same design as well if such a bundle exist.

I like that MS is giving gamers a lot of bundle options this holiday. Forza bundle, lego bundle, an elite bundle, halo 5 bundle, tomb raider bundle, etc.

I personally think its a little too much...The box kinda loses its identity with all these different colors so early in a life cycle.

More choices to the consumer is great, but i feel like they're doing it in a way to see what colors people buy and push those next year.

Anyways With all these bundles I wonder if Walmart or best buy will call Microsoft and say " cool it on the bundles, you're not the number one seller and we wont give you all this shelf space...At the rate you're going we will have to devote an entire corner of the store just to shelve all those bundles"

Huh?? ....COD, DESTINY and BATTLEFRONT are 'All' on Xbox One also, only w/out the 'Exclusive' stuff. There's more shooters on X1 including Titanfall, MCC & Halo 5.

I commend MS for trying to change the perception of Xbox being synonymous with Shooters/Racers by mixing up future titles...but generally most know what they're getting with the Xbox brand. This is not a Myth.

My point was more the fact that it's supporting first person shooters more than ever before. Even more than xbox by getting exclusive content deals for shooters. The same reason xbox was considered a bro shooter box last gen. Seems like it's switching a bit. Now PS is more shooter bro shooter friendly. Titanfall is coming to ps4. Kill zone has been on PS and so has resistance. 2 shooters exclusive to PS. Xbox now has Halo left. Unless I'm missing one or more. It may seem that way because Halo is what made Xbox what it is.

Imo seeing a white X1 just reminds me of how much of an aesthetic downgrade the 1 is compared to the 360. The shape of it is simply the antithesis of sleek. I still think PS4 holds the aesthetics crown. And this is coming from someone who thought the PS1 and 3 were ugly. The PS2 seems ugly now but when it came out it looked cutting edge and sexy (especially compared to the OG Xbox and Gamecube).

I have the Halo: Master Chief Collection Bundle already. I recently also bought The Lunar White controller and very happy with it. But I'm kind of upset because the controller that came with the bundle doesn't have the new improved wireless controller with the 3.5mm headset jack. I think I'll pay a visit to GameStop and trade it in for another Lunar White controller.

Some lame bundles right there, when they've now started putting 1tb why go back to 500Gb White is ok and looks cool when you first get it but do get grubby over time, and the gears bundle could surely come out now the game came out over a month ago, as for that Kinect bundle it's laughable it's the same old rubbish they had when it launched 2 years ago after nearly 20+ months you'd have thought they would have at least one game that was a Kinect seller... Nope I'd rather get one than without just in case but they seem a waste of time at the moment...there always Kinect fruit ninja, oh dear ;( haha
