KSD writes: In Stasis, a new sci-fi horror adventure from The Brotherhood, you take that downhill walk countless times over the course of its six-or-so hours, and do so willingly. You play as John Marachek, a man rudely awoken out of cryogenic stasis on a dilapidated, seemingly abandoned spaceship called the Groomlake. You don’t know how you got there (it’s not the ship you embarked on before cryo-sleep with your wife and daughter, who are nowhere to be found), and before long it becomes clear that someone -- or something -- has been making quick and bloody work of the crew.
Spooky season is here again at last and time of the horror game has arrived alongside it. This year has seen the return of some the genre's greatest entires, but both tended to focus more on thrills than they did chills. So, those wanting a bit more of the latter this month would do well to check out at least one of these before Halloween rolls around.
If a sci-fi horror point-n-click isometric survival adventure game sounds good to you, you will not be disappointed by what Statis has in store for you.
In Sheltered: Stasis you must find a way to leave your hostile home planet behind you by building and launching a rocket.
