During Square Enix's Final Fantasy Active Time Report tonight at Tokyo Game Show, the company announced Final Fantasy Type-0 Online.
Licensed by Square Enix, Final Fantasy Type-0 Online is an online mobile game developed by Perfect World Co. Hajime Tabata, the producer of the original Final Fantasy Type-0 game released for PSP, talked about the mobile version of the game at ChinaJoy 2016.
Square Enix will host an open beta for Final Fantasy Type-0 Online, its September 2015-announced online game for PC and smartphones, in China this month, with plans to expand to Japan, North America, and Europe afterward, the company announced.
Is this why they stripped the multiplayer functionality out of the console release? Scumbags.
FFU writes: We've reached another year's end, so in honor of the occasion the Final Fantasy Chat for this week will be focusing on what goodies we think and know Square Enix have in store for us next year.
I've always been a big fan of Type-0, so I welcome a new game.
Oh I thought this was going to be on consoles. Oh well
Square really going all out with Final Fantasy games this year!
