Serena Nelson writes: "It's a harsh world out there. In order to survive it's kill or be killed. It's even worse for a private investigator, someone who puts himself on the line for a few bucks to eat. The town eats away at your soul until you're just another zombie on the streets. That's pretty much film noir in a nutshell. And Pixel Noir looks to take on the tried and true tropes of the genre and turns it into an interesting turn based RPG."
"The Madrid-based (Spain) indie games publisher BadLand Publishing and Southampton-based (New Jersey, the US) indie games developer SWDTech Games, today announced with great delight and excitement that their hard-boiled 16-bit detective RPG "Pixel Noir" is coming to PC (via Steam) and consoles in 2023 (the game will launch for the Nintendo Switch in April 2023, and Xbox One and the PS4 sometime in the summer of 2023)." - Jonas Ek, TGG.
Although it has finally taken a little longer than expected, SWDTech's retro RPG "Pixel Noir" is now available via the Steam Early Access program.

"the quality is there usually these 8/16/32 bit devs games aren't very skilled but the pixels/art here is done well"
- Well, the game looks pretty darn well-made imo. So I'll give it a fair chance ;)
The development of Pixel Noir, SWD Tech's long-awaited retro RPG, is progressing and, to prove it, its creators have decided to release a preliminary version of the game (with approximately half the content of the final version) through Steam Early Access system (“Pixel Noir” is coming to Steam Early Access during the first week of April).
