I'd expect so since this is the only KH remaster with new content, and that isn't cheap to make.

Still disappointing though

AzubuEntus3143d ago

Still not worth getting imo.

_-EDMIX-_3143d ago

Oh really? When did you play it?

AzubuEntus3143d ago

@Edmix

I will predict the future for you: Three weeks after the release of KH 2.8, people here in N4G will start complaining how 2.8 is by far the weakest remaster while saying the common excuse that Square-Enix released it as a cash-grab technique from its fans.

But really, you're basically paying (possibly) $60+ for a game (Dream Drop Distance) that was released three years ago, several generic cutscenes that tie in some plotholes here and there, and possibly a new game (0.2 Fragmentory Passage) which I'm assuming will mostly be full of cutscenes and few gameplay here and there. Worst case scenario, this new content will just be cutscenes that will tie into KH3.

Please mark my words from my first paragraph. Before its release, people said that MGS5 will be the greatest and most epic Metal Gear game while saying, "Kojima released his new game with a BANG!" Gamers who didn't play MGS5 chewed out those who say that MGS5 will probably be a disappointment and look what happened: people now are complaining it's becoming a repetitive mission game with shallow depth into the story.

Yi-Long3143d ago

Only interested in the game if they include the original Japanese voices.

Hoffmann3143d ago

I have the big hope that we will see all the KH games together in a collection once. (in 2024)

LAWSON723143d ago

Of course those next gen buyers are confident might as well cash in on it lol

Chaosdreams3143d ago

So I want Kh3, but i am literally a lost puppy with the story. I played 1 and 2, but none of the games on the other devices.

*Takes a deep breath*

Ya feel me?

Double_O_Revan3143d ago

I'm in the same boat. I only played the 2 games. Ive only bought 1.5 so far, but I am waiting until a little closer to 3 to play it and 2.5.

Kalebninja3143d ago

Don't, you need the other games to understand anything. If you want to wait it out they'll probably announce a full collection for ps4 or you can just watch the game "movies" on youtube.

deadpoolio3163143d ago

Except Square has already been asked about a PS4 port, and have already said a few times now that there is NOT going to be a port of 1.5 or 2.5 and they have no interest in doing so..

Double_O_Revan3143d ago (Edited 3143d ago )

Thanks for that link. I wish Gametrailers would do a retrospective on KH. They do a great job with that series. Especially the MGS, Metroid and Zelda ones.

Ooh. A whole 20% off of the $250 you're pushing on PC gamers for the whole collection. Despite all that content being had for $30 or under on Playstation, and you already taking money from Epic for bringing it to their store first.

Straight up greed.

SDuck1121d ago

1. Epic's the one going for the exclusivity
2. No, that content isn't $30 on PSN, I've checked it
3. You don't have to get everything at the same time. Better, just wait until Epic offers it for free

Inverno1121d ago

The physical All-in-one collection regularly goes down to 30. This has absolutely no business being sold in individual packs at full price.

MadLad1121d ago

Epic offered, Square accepted. They made money on the deal.
No idea what point you're trying to make there.
I didn't say "PSN", I said "Playstation". Google "Kingdom Hearts complete" and tell me what you see.
Your last point is literally you defending them highly upcharging on content that can be had for cheap lol.

What a joke.

Inverno1121d ago

Should've been the All-in-one collection, then KH3 Final Mix and MoM sold as full price ports. Least that way it'd make more sense, with Final Mix announcement for consoles as well. Be honest though, coming from Square this isn't suprising in the slightest.

Rachel_Alucard1121d ago (Edited 1121d ago )

I got reminded Disney has investors with Epic so that's why you see Disney+ advertising, marvel crossovers, star wars, and KH itself is all because of that.

VersusDMC1121d ago

Weird backlash on price when we get justifications for skyward sword switch at 60. Only kingdom hearts 2.8 is too expensive to me.
