VGChartz's Craig Snow: "The gaming industry is so used to the notion that the biggest hits of the year are released in the final quarter, so as to capitalise on holiday sales, that we sometimes forget that each year also plays host to some big early hitters.
It mostly is the case, of course, that publishers aim to release their most lucrative titles towards the end of the year, but not always. This list of the top 10 new retail releases of 2015 in terms of sales illustrates some potent exceptions to that rule."
The creator of the 60 fps patch for Bloodborne has been hit with a DMCA notice from publisher Sony after 3 years.
People will read this and assume "must be a bloodborne remake coming".
Unfortunately, more likely theyre just being d***s
A prominent former PlayStation executive has discussed the future of Bloodborne, stating that everyone is likely waiting on Miyazaki.
This has been stated many times. Everyone keeps blaming Sony but it is in fact up to when Miyazaki is 'Not Busy'.
Sony Interactive Entertainment's titles Bloodborne and The Last Guardian are now playable on the Steam Deck via emulation.
Bloodborne and Zelda Majora Mask are only exclusives in the list which is pretty impressive feat.
I predict three more exclusives to be added as tear end namely Uncharted collection, Halo 5 and Dragon quest heroes(which already sold 1 million copy and worldwide release this Oct)
What's important for people to note is that these numbers only account for retail
Glad to see Bloodborne on the list. I'm also happy to see Splatoon and Majoras Mask as well. Especially Splatoon because hopefully this starts a trend of Nintendo creating new IPS.
As for Batman and The Witcher 3 I would they that the sales are well deserved. However, they really messed up with the PC version of Arkham Knight.
no xbox one exclusive? Gonna be hard to make the top 10 now that Madden, Fifa, CoD, Assassins Creed, Battlefront, MGSV, and Fallout4 will be released in the remaining months of 2015.
I'm so glad The Witcher 3 pulled off 6 million copies. More people needed to experience the Witcher universe.
