I just started using mods a week ago and playing PC games, after playing Fallout NV with mods I'm officially hooked. Now I see this and it makes me want to upgrade my PC just to play Skyrim again with mods. These modders put a lot of time in these things and I appreciate the PC community a whole lot more.

Morrowind is already available, and now they're working on porting Oblivion and Shivering Isles expansion. It's amazing how much longevity modders add to games, and now that console owners will be able to access mods with Fallout 4, I can't wait to see what people create.

Yeah I agree, that's why I'm pretty amazed that I'm putting in so many hours into Fallout NV because of the quests modders added. I'm also looking forward to Fallout 4 too and the ability to mod them, like I said in my post everyone needs to experience this Once I upgrade my PC I'm going to get Skyrim next and see what it has to offer hopefully it'll keep me busy until Fallout 4.

Holy smokes! What an incredible job! I can't imagine how much work went into this.

Check out their "Skywind" project as well. TESIII Morrow Wind using Skyrim's engine, gameplay, etc.

MS could compress their games on disc

Skyrim is still my favorite ES game. I’m playing through it again right now since I never finished it.

ActualWhiteMan5d ago

Yeah totally. Definitely won’t be hacking it Nintendo 🤞🏻

Fallout and Skyrim show us that talented developers make great games when you leave them alone

That judicious lack of oversight permeated everything in Bethesda's RPGs, in a positive fashion.

Christopher34d ago

I much prefer a left alone Obsidian and Larian Studios. Bethesda's formula has grown old for me.

anast32d ago

Larian hit another level with DOS:2 and then took it even further with BG3. They do high quality work.

Skyrim was a letdown compared to previous games and so was Fallout 4

Kosic32d ago

I agree, I found it an interesting game. But nowhere near worth the hype (unless you include mods)

dmonee33d ago

Skyrim blew my mind when it released. That game took me to the gaming, promisedland. Going back to it when it was updated for the PS5, it felt slightly rough around the edges, but great for its time

TheColbertinator33d ago

We should leave Obsidian alone. Bethesda on the other hand should be kept under constant psychiatric observation.

anast32d ago

Skyrim feels like the game was made in a hurry with a disorganized team.
