Nintendo's former president Satoru Iwata is gone, but he leaves some great games behind.
Ever play a game a game only to discover at some point it transforms into a horror game? No? Well Netto's Game Room shares six games that do just that!
Not necessarily a ‘horror’ moment, but I remember feeling really tense and anxious when the Flood were first introduced in the original Halo. I never felt more on edge or nervous in that whole game as that moment. I think it was the whole buildup that something terrible was coming but you didn’t know exactly what.
Another non-horror game that had me feeling it was Subnautica. The deep dark depths, and knowing that sea monsters were lurking nearby, had me jumping at every sound.
I remember being scared of the Asylum level in the most recent Thief game from 2014.
Each Pokemon generation and entry brings up something new to the franchise. Let's talk about the rankings of every Pokemon generation.
Many indies try to capture the magic of Nintendo's urban RPG, but the game that comes closest is SEGA's crime drama, Yakuza: Like A Dragon.
This guy was a genius!
Didn't know about him reprogramming Dragon Quest 1 to make it better....Even more awesome.
"Nintendo wanted Super Smash Bros. Melee for the launch of the GameCube, but the team at HAL were running behind schedule. Or at least they were until the president of the company rolled up his sleeves and pitched in on the programming. With Iwata’s help, Super Smash Bros. Melee hit shelves a mere two weeks after the launch of the GameCube itself. It’s also still considered by many to be the fastest, slickest and best-designed game in the series, which tends to happen when Iwata gets involved in a project."
He was like a games development super hero!
Balloon Fight!!! that game was the greatest
