Carl Williams writes, "It is not all that often that Nintendo lets their lead franchises out to play on other platforms other than Nintendo bred ones. We saw this happen in the 80’s in Japan when Hudson Soft released a Super Mario Bros on the PC-88. We also saw it happen with the CD-i when Philips released versions of Zelda and Mario for their failed full motion video machine. We also saw it with a couple of education games by The Software Toolworks for various platforms. While Nintendo has let Mario out to other developers from time to time, I want to focus on that first one, the PC game. Why? Because I think it is time that Mario comes back to PC gaming. Why the hell would Nintendo do that? Watch the Mario in Unreal 4 video, below, and tell me that you wouldn’t want to see an official Mario game using this engine on PC."
Tim Burton’s vision of Gotham brought to life by passionate fans.
They should have been made a batman game for the best batman movie. This looks amazing and now I must watch the movie.
YouTube's 'ackehallgren' has recreated the Rimmer's Rest from Star Wars Dark Forces II: Jedi Knight in Unreal Engine 4.
NVIDIA and Epic Games have released an official Unreal Engine 4 RTX Tech Demo.
Really impressive tech but I don’t even notice all of these benefits in real life, never mind being chased by zombies in a video game. Rather devote resources to resolution and frame rate.
Yes after seeing the Unreal 5 ps5 reveal, I thought that's where we were heading. But saying that I have read various articles that suggest its easy for developers to still work on Unreal 4 and carry everything over to Unreal 5 when needed, we shall see.
I dig Mario in a more realistic setting. Looks incredible. Nintendo needs to take notice.
That looks awesome. Nintendo would never do it though unfortunately.
Lol this looks so silly! As a parody it has potential, but mashing these styles together just looks funny.
