Sam Coleman from Pixel Dynamo interviews Bill Geise from Turn 10 Studios about the slow, careful process that went into introducing two big fan demands into the series for the first time.
Developer Turn 10 Studios' changes to player progression in Forza Motorsport should become a standard for the simulation racing genre moving forward.
I don’t get why anyone would post anything Xbox positive on this site. Ballsy though.
Ohhhh helllll noooo!!!
It's the worst part of the bloody game, actually ruins it a lot!!
I’ve heard nothing but bad about this game from consumers. It’s weird how the media outlets seem to live the sh*t out of it. I think they maybe don’t have their fingers on the pulse with this one.
During Sunday's Xbox Showcase, Turn 10 Studios dropped a trailer for the next iteration of Forza Motorsport, which it teased back in January.
Turn10 have a plan to support Forza Motorsport for 10 years. Makes sense and them announcing
that the new career mode has service features built in directly to put tracks and cars in which line up with there vision.
Yeah sure, so many devs keep promising these "service" like games that they can't commit to. Let's see how long they can hold peoples attention before they scrap this idea and just release another numbered game.
Live service LMAO. Like that’s ever been a great idea. Not a single game out there with a live service that’s lived up to it’s original promise. Live service is just an excuse for devs to drip feed content, scrap it after two years and say we are working on the next entry. But hey, it’s all free content so why you complaining lol.
KeenGamer: "See the top 10 rarest cars to ever appear in Forza history! Thousands of cars have been featured in Forza since launch and only a handful of them have been really difficult to obtain or, in current state, impossible to drive around with. Although they were once obtainable, it's only for a limited time and, most times, for a certain price."
I thought this was going to be about the rarest and most valuable cars in the game, based on real life manufacture numbers and value.
Lovely, sounds golden. I've never stopped missing the original Forza's night time tracks and the game in general. Superb entrance for the series and also a game that sadly, ran very poorly on the 360. Tempted to buy an old box of X'ness just for the nostalgia haha still miss my PS2/3 damn it.
Did I just read it wont rain at night? wtf turn 10, night time races with rain are the most intense races you can get, and the weather is static by the sounds of it that rain is static and will be a constant speed, not getting faster/slower light/heavy etc.
Man I thought this forza was going to be the one and already it has let me down in one feature :(
(not trolling) driveclub is still the daddy with visuals/weather
Doesnt mean much when the tyres are not even simulated, therefor not simulating what REALLY happens when rubber (which has been simulated in forza) hits tarmac ( a surface itself which is simulated, in forza).
DC may have great visual weather but forza will have superior physical effects because the cars AND the weather are simulated. In Dc its just for show. They code a little grease on the road to make their non simulated cars have a lower grip value than the dry code. Thats VERY artificial. DC is like a dumb bimbo. All looks no substance.
You wont be accurately aquaplaning over three dimensional puddles in DC. So technically forza has the more accurate weather. It may not look as pixel perfect but it behaves far more like real water in the way it affect the cars than DC can ever hope, as long as its an arcade racer. Also FM6 runs at twice the framrate. Ill take simulated weather and car physics at 60 FPS over pretty graphics and hollow arcade style car handling, any day of the week. I put Pcars and assetto corsa and GT above DC as well, for similar reasons.
Hopefully we see snow sometime soon in a Forza game, I want more snow in my games cannot get enough of it.
