Then they called it a day and drank some ridiculous overpriced coffee concoction at starbucks while trying to figure out how to use the Internets reaction to prove that gamers are nothing but man-children with no redeeming qualities.

Just assumption of course as i'm not sure they could actually afford anything from starbucks.

My jaw hit the floor several times at some of the things shown & announced at Sony's E3!...especially FF-VII remake which I thought S-E wouldn't touch...simply amazing conference!

There are so many incredible moments in the original that would never be put in a video game today. And even if they were, they just wouldn't be the same using modern graphics.

Examples:

-Squat Competition
-Cross dressing
-Honey Bee Inn
-Cornholio's manor

there's many more but you get the point.

I've always maintained that I'd never buy a console because of a single game... but that may change now. lol.

I can see them being put in if the scope of the original remains the same. It would be a shame if some of those humorous moments were left out in the interest of keeping the dark and gritty theme that's been established since AC released.

Comedic interludes are a nice touch to break from the more serious tone of the game, and a couple of those things actually were story related.

I think it'd be more interesting for SE to include them, but update them towards more modern sensibilities. They were never meant to be offensive things, so it's a hard task to make them into something without the risk of offending people. In this case, I think SE shouldn't worry about who they're going to offend, because the people offended by it are going to be in the minority compared to the number of people they'll piss off by removing those things.
