There is much confusion over what exactly Portal: Still Alive, an upcoming Xbox Live Arcade release of Valve's excellent platformer-thing, is. After all, it was announced amazingly vaguely during Microsoft's E3 press conference, and there was little followup. So Remowned asked Valve's Doug Lombardi, and he explained it to them.
Carlos writes: "The month of June has finally arrived and whilst most of us are waiting in anticipation for the exciting announcements that are likely to come out of E3, there are still plenty of gaming releases to keep focused on beforehand. For those with an active Xbox Live Gold subscription, a new month means new games - new games you won’t be spending a single penny extra on thanks to the fantastic Xbox Live Games With Gold scheme. So without further ado, let’s jump into the Xbox One and Xbox 360 titles you’ll be able to download free of charge throughout June and find out just how good or bad they are."
Portal is obviously a great game, and personally I always enjoyed NHL games ever since NHLPA on thr Megadrive, despite not caring about the sport itself.
Don't know the other games, so can't comment on those ...
So yeah, pretty good month for me personally.
I was about to get portal on pc then I saw the games with gold june and wow I'm good now
Whether you’re experiencing an unexpected side effect of being in the “control group” at Aperture Laboratories or bemoaning your less exciting (but probably less dangerous) job, the Portal 2 Miniature Replica Portal Gun is for you. Following the success of the full size replica this new release is still a sizeable production, but mush more friendly on the wallet.
Xbox Live Gamer Hub takes a look at five must play games on Xbox Live Arcade.
''The classic shoot em up made its appearance on Xbox Live Arcade back in April 2008 and has since been thrilling gamers with its intense shooting action and challenging gameplay. Tasking players with switching their shield colour (red to blue and vice versa) to absorb bullets to survive a level was a fantastic twist on the genre and offered a decent mix between risk and reward. The battles get crazier and crazier as the game continues as does the difficulty.''
That's pretty slack I reckon :/
I've completed the Flash Version and the Free Map Pack version. Definitely great, but Microsoft touted this as some great new developed levels exclusively for the Xbox 360, which it isn't.
I want to see the price on this, then we can discuss the situation further
How can they justify charging console gamers for content that was free on the PC?
wow another microsoft ripoff when will they end
once portal 2 is announced as a playstation 3 exclusive that is when gamers will be able to experience true hi definition graphics thanks to the powerful cell broadband engine and rsx
