Hardcore Gamer: "Asymmetrical multiplayer games seem to be all the rage right now, but none are quite like OBEY. In this game everyone plays as a cute little bunny."
OBEY puts you in the position to command your opponents, and to be commanded by them.
Stepping over the charred corpse of one of my bunny comrades, I edge closer to my goal – the massive monkey-headed death machine in the centre of the map.
I’ve been a good bunny so far and obeyed all it’s requests – wearing my collar, picking up and dropping off supplies, and even ratting out a few of the other bunnies who were disobeying the almighty overlord.
Marcus Estrada writes: "When I first played OBEY it was an incredibly confusing experience. However, after a bit of explanation, and actually entering into a match, it quickly became a very neat multiplayer experience. Unfortunately, it seemed this cool concept didn't quite translate via a Kickstarter pitch as the crowdfunding campaign was unsuccessful last year. Developer Daniel Dez didn't let that stop him, though. He has continued working on the game and launched an Early Access version this week."
