That's great, i really want to play this game, heard great things about it.

RSKnight3279d ago

You won't be disapointed. If you like puzzle games like Portal you'll love The Talos Principle. It's the best game I've played this year so far. I thought it'll be for PC only, but now that it's comming to PS4 I recomend to get it on PS4 instead of PC, because the only problem with the game on PC is that the engine is not well optimized and crashes a bit too often. Also the frame rate is almost impossible to keep at 60 fps. But still a fantastic game!

Thanks for the feedback. :)

They (any company) should continue improving physical media instead of pushing for digital-only... Good news all the way. :)

OB1Biker3279d ago

Yep. And there will always be more room on my shelves than on any HD

_-EDMIX-_3279d ago

I don't know of any major publisher in gaming that just does digital only. Most publishers do physical releases. Even on PC...

Put it this way, less methods equal less ways to bring out product which means less money...

Who the hell wants to make less money? Its fine if a studio can't afford to publish disk, but clearly this shows that it can be done, for this studio its clear it isn't an issue.

rainslacker3277d ago

Don't think it's about focusing only on one or the other. Some publishers do put out some of their games digital only though. NISA and ATLUS come to mind, but I suppose they feel that a physical release won't bring in enough money to make it worth releasing certain titles. Ubisoft released that one RPG(can't remember the name) as digital only but had a limited physical release in the EU, which kind of sucks for people that prefer retail.

Nintendo does this on occasion by saying they are "sold out" of physical copies, and in my opinion do it to capitalize off the higher profit of the digital release.

DigitalRaptor3278d ago

The game was very well received. Almost up there with Portal.

Glad it's making its way to PS4, and a physical version is quite confident of them.

do i have to put in my card info before i get the "Free" Games

porkChop1581d ago

I don't think so. I claimed lots of free games before I added my card to buy BL3.

Sono4211580d ago

Honestly everyone here should pick this up now, it's an absolutely AMAZING game, very well done, with some very well thought out puzzles. No shortage of content either, man... I might actually go replay this right now..

porkChop1581d ago

Why the quotation marks? It *is* free.

MadLad1581d ago (Edited 1581d ago )

Yeah. They're definitely free lol.

LucasRuinedChildhood1581d ago (Edited 1581d ago )

Not a big fan of the Epic Games Store but it's not "free" - there are no strings attached. A game is being made free on the store each day for 12 days. There's been some other standouts like Celeste, Superhot and Ape Out as well.

Godmars2901581d ago

Can you only play them through the Epic store launcher? Can the launcher be deleted and you still have the games?

Cikatriz_ESP1580d ago

@Godmars290

And do you pay for the Epic store launcher? Still sounds a lot like free.

Godmars2901580d ago

@Cikatriz_ESP:
Are you required to keep the Epic store on the same PC as the games in order to play them. If the answer is yes, then there's your ambiguous "free". If you can't see it, don't want to see it, enjoy your "free" games as Epic reminds you that they have a store they "want" you to use.

MadLad1581d ago

The EPIC store. A store so good that they need to buy timed exclusives and offer free games just to get you to look at it.

Hey. This is good on the consumer's end. Take advantage of the free games. Typically I do. I still never buy the timed exclusives until they hit other storefronts.

MadLad1580d ago

Either counter my statement or leave it be. Nothing I said is innately false, so dumb little comments like this serve no purpose.

Add something substantial to the conversation, or don't be part of it :)

SamPao1580d ago

@TheRealTedCruz who decides if something is substantial though? ^^

MadLad1580d ago

@sampao

A semblance of a point would be a great start.
