DiRT 4 Incoming Announcement? AMD Adds Crossfire Profile for Codemasters' Racing Game

AMD may have spoiled Codemasters’ surprise, as the red team has already added a Crossfire profile for DiRT 4 in its latest graphics driver.

I'd definitely welcome a new DiRT game and a new Rallisport Challenge if Microsoft ever decides to make a new one. Need more variety in racing games nowadays.

While it's possible, It's most likely talking about DiRT showdown, which was in fact the 4th instillation to the series. Especially since it says "Dirt 4 : Poor performance may be experienced in some configurations". DiRT showdown has been known for a while to have poor CF support.

I really want a new DiRT game focused on rally, but my money is that this was just written this way without thinking about a possible 5th instillation of the series being called DiRT 4.

Well they did tease a new DiRT game earlier this month, but nothing official yet.

So I didn't even get DiRT Showdown, and I traded DiRT 3 in as soon as I realized the gymkhana crap ruined it. If they can stick to strictly rally racing, with a few gymkhana events in there (since I'm sure some fans really loved that kind of stuff), then they would definitely get my money. To pair it with ProjectCars, I wouldn't need another racing game for a while!
