IncGamers asks Sui Generis developer Madoc Evans about the game's ambitions, design philosopies and how the unrestrained RPG is progressing.
Megan Myrick writes: "The case of Sui Generis isn’t really a unique one on Kickstarter. It raised £160,000 in 2012 things seemed to be going well, but then the updates stopped. There is a twist to this story, the game has not been abandoned."
Sui Generis: Exanima, a unique fully physics-based top-down dungeon crawler, that’s also a Kickstarter success, just launched on Steam’s Early Access available for the public after 2 years and a half of development and private testing.
LGN "Sui Generis is an open-world ARGP, being developed by Bare Mettle Entertainment. The game was kick-started on 30th November 2012. In the earlier videos many people didn’t like the character animations as the combat and running motion looks a bit clunky, so the team has decided to put together a new video which shows the overall improvement they have achieved in terms of gameplay mechanics."
Few months still left for release, so hopefully these guys will polish it further.
