Hardcore Gamer: Tidbits from various Rare employees have hinted at a new Banjo-Kazooie game appearing at E3 2015. But what could this be? Could this be a return to form for the series or more obscure experimentalism that alienates the core demographic?
A game that had been thought cancelled or at the very least in development hell, Rare’s Everwild has resurfaced of late – first through comments last week on Jez Corden & Rand Al Thor’s Xbox Two podcast that it was finally “progressing well”. We’ve now had confirmation from Phil Spencer himself that Everwild is indeed still in active development, and is in a playable state.
Showcase or Xbox direct 2025? NGL MS has been revealing better lookin games since Everwild. They shouldn't of announced the game so early (5 years prior)
Either way I'll keep an eye on this game as I'm. More curious than anything.
Idk every time I hear news of Phil goes and plays a game it never turns out good lol.
Crackdown, redfall etc lol.
This is like the madden curse. When ever a team is put on the cover they do bad. Example look at 49ers this year lol.
If this game does bad the Phil curse is real lol
Rare, the developer behind pirate adventure Sea of Thieves, has introduced a dedicated dog park to its studio grounds for employees' good boys and girls.
Nice thing they did, but not actually gaming related, not sure why this article was approved. Also strange informing us what game Rare worked on, as if we don't know their legacy.
I went to look at new apartments and saw only dog parks, no kid parks. We're so screwed.
Rival companies, including Sony and Ubisoft, are being good sports by congratulating Nintendo on Zelda: Tears Of The Kingdom's launch.
Well deserved and how AAA is done. 96 meta score...please be inspired other AAA companies lol.
I own both PS5 and Switch and I am really enjoying BOTW for the moment so I am not ready for Tears of the Kingdom, but I'll get it eventually.
It's a quality game and I wish Nintendo were a cross platform developer and not a hardware specific one. as can you imagine this on series x or Ps5. Just look at the ue5 stuff people have done, hope there next hardware is extraordinary.
Why not? 3D platformers are awesome and need to make a comeback
Honestly, I think Microsoft could position Banjo (and some of other Rare's licenses) as the mascots for the Xbox One. Sony is going super serious lately and I could see the Xbox becoming the creative console this generation.
Sure, just don't make it like Nut's and Bolts.
It should sell, this and Conker have cult followings with people highly anticipating the sequel(s) for decades and would buy an XB1 in a heartbeat. So make it already Phil!
Yes of course. Banjo has a huge following, and I bet that MS will push it hard
