Eurogamer:
"If Forza Horizon 2 was a Bestival for cars, all sun-kissed fields and long, breezy summer days, then Storm Island, Playground Games' first downloadable expansion for its Xbox One exclusive, is their Glastonbury; where the mud churns and the rain tumbles down while the wind whistles noisily through the trees.
Such extreme elements are all part of the fun, giving this generous extension to arguably the year's best driving game a flavour of its own. How pleasing it is, too, to see an expansion done right so soon after Destiny's The Dark Below got it all so wrong: the price-tag may be significant, but Storm Island is heavy on things to do, with some 80 new events taking in a number of different disciplines and a whole new island to explore."

Would love to see a PC port of this game Forza 3 and 4 are just gorgeous on XBOX but Jaw dropping on PC.
not like DC does. they were 10 yrs ahead of their time.

but FH2 was pretty good as well.
* I've still yet to beat the game and haven't bought FH3 or FH4 because I still have stuff to do in FH2....I just haven't played in a while. It's an awesome game and yes it still is just as good now as when it originally released.

These are the awards that will take you hundreds of hours at the absolute minimum, and often involve repeating menial tasks over and over. It’s safe to say that these were definitely not made with the casual gamer in mind. Only the most committed will ever see these pop."
As different as they are, Assassin's Creed Odyssey, Forza Horizon, FIFA 19, and the new Tomb Raider have something in common. You could play all of them earlier than others. But there was a catch – you had to pay extra. And this practice doesn't seem to be going away anytime soon.
Meanwhile selling Switch at MSRP price is considered an amazing offer. PATHETIC.
Is this how they trick people into paying $80 Us Dollars for games next gen? Then I will get every game used.
If they remove MT and actually make games fun again like they used to I'll gladly pay $ 80 for game hell I already do that for Sony's games.
As long as the early access is just an additional feature of the edition that comes with the season pass and all that then I'm fine with it. But I'm not going to pay extra JUST for early access.
Wow.The guys at Playground are pretty talented. There's no denying that. Great job once again.
Love this expansion really good
Love the expansion! I think it's the best rally game ever. I would love to see Playground games do a full fledged rally game!!
Off topic, as I was playing Storm Island, I thought to myself "what if Ivory Tower and their huge open world, married Playground Games and their excellent arcade driving physics and excellent graphics. And then went onto have a baby. And that baby was as huge as The Crew was, but with better graphics and better handling?? I think that would be a marriage made in heaven!
This is an absolute amazing expansion pack!!! new location, new cars, new weather effects/changes, moving trees, more championships, etc, etc... The best just keeps getting better! Game on.
