Assassin’s Creed Unity Has Hilarious Glitches

It wouldn’t be an Assassin’s Creed game without glitches, and the newest game in the series, Assassin’s Creed Unity, has plenty of them.

Would that be a glitch? Seems more like the players choice to leap around like that.

Now the one in the video...that is a glitch.

hay3848d ago

Apparently this game would be so much better if it was a Superman game.

bigboss19903850d ago

This games shit! I tell you why theres all bugs in it like this. Because they have gone and made 2 games at the same time its greedy.

Meltic3850d ago

Must agree. Several bugs, glitches. And AC black flag was more beautifully and better my opinion. Ive not completed this game yet but 1 thing that i hate in unity is that you cant use enemies as cover when other enemies shooting. HATE IT... ac black flag was 9/10 and this 7/10 ubisoft what happend ? 4 years making this game and we got this ?

Findingcrybabies3850d ago

You laugh. I don't think many people buy a Ubisoft game expecting quality from a good developer or a complete game. So you go in knowing its going to be broken and unfinished. Enjoy it for what it is. I like it, but I refuse to buy their games.

cj1pate1013850d ago

Does any one realize splintercell blacklist is still plagued with these same type of bugs. Ammo packs thrown threw maps, players falling through maps, and ect.. ubi wont patch shit gl.

Meltic3850d ago

Its sad.. i dont understand eather how demanding this game can be ?. Look shadow of mordor. The game and fighting looked better and the graphic there was better allso. I know its the NPC on screen but who cares about that. Instead make a flaweless game that runs smooth and good. And not too mention that in ac black flag you could use enemies as cover when they shooted. Not here ? or i am wrong ?

starchild3850d ago

You've totally ruined your credibility claiming AC4 and Shadow of Mordor look better than Unity. That's just completely absurd. Unity is a much more graphically advanced game than either of those games. Shadow of Mordor is a fantastic game, but it doesn't hold a candle to Unity.

And, no, it's not just the density of the NPCs and other elements in the environments that makes it look better, it's the fact that it is using more advanced graphics tech all around.

"Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag utilized an upgraded version of Ubisoft's AnvilNext graphics engine, first debuted on PC in Assassin's Creed III. For Black Flag, the engine received a variety of significant upgrades, including pre-baked Global Illumination, volumetric fog, dynamic weather, and dynamic foliage to name but a few examples. For Unity there has been a similar upgrade, with Physically Based Rendering (PBR) being the stand-out addition, enabling materials, objects and surfaces to look and react more realistically to lighting, shading and shadowing. Furthermore, the Global Illumination system is now more realistic with the addition of volumetric technology, physics-led objects react more realistically, and cloth behaves in a realistic manner on the protagonist, in the environment, and on other characters. The world now supports larger landmasses, more objects, bigger buildings, building interiors that can be accessed without loading screens, and many other additions that enhance visual fidelity, immersion, and the gameplay."

"Other changes include improvements to depth of field effects, shadowing effects, reflection effects, level of detail instancing, movement, stealth, object interaction, and much, much more, to the extent it'd be easier to list the items that haven't been upgraded, rewritten, or optimized."

I Played Assassin’s Creed Unity Almost 10 Years Later. It’s (Kinda) Spectacular

Shaz from GL writes: "Assassin’s Creed Unity is looked at as one of the worst in Ubisoft’s iconic franchise. But playing it nearly 10 years later reveals it may just be the best"

Do the NPCs still randomly levitate every now and then? Even years later I noticed they hadn't patched that out

andy85441d ago (Edited 441d ago )

Honestly I loved the PS4 ACs. I'd love next gen ports of Black Flag, Unity and Syndicate

Why Assassin’s Creed Unity remains one of the best games in the series

GF365: "Since the first Assassin’s Creed game, there have been entries up until now. There are more than a few titles that are far from an ideal stealth game. Let’s discuss why 2014’s Assassin’s Creed Unity is one of the best games in the series."

Glitchy as hell and flat story, nah this aint it. AC2, brotherhood and 4 were amazing games in every respective

Furesis919d ago

Yeah i would say brotherhood and 4 were the best for me. I have not played the new ones and Unity was my last one. Seems like i made a good choice.

DarXyde919d ago

I gave up after Revelations. Just couldn't bring myself to care anymore and I got burned out of the gameplay.

Definitely agree on 2 and Brotherhood though. Great games.

YourMommySpoils919d ago

A Ubisoft AC game that's not glitchy? That will be the day.

Knightofelemia920d ago

After constant glitches Arno being boring nah I am good I skipped Unity. I will always like the Ezio trilogy, Black Flag, Rogue, Odyssey, Syndicate. I use to love the franchise but now it feels stale and boring. But my list of favorite entries into the franchise will vary from other players favorite entries.

RaidenBlack919d ago

Odyssey is a really well-made RPG game ... but it ain't a proper AC game, even though its part of the lore

ToddlerBrain919d ago

It’s funny because, at launch, it was universally panned for being unplayable. It’s a great game that holds up today. I’m glad they fixed it.

staticall919d ago

The only good things i remember from Unity are pretty graphics and really good descending mechanics (even though it sometimes didn't make much sense, when your character can drop down from like 10 meter height onto a flagpole perfectly).

Game is glitchy to this day, i was playing in it years after the release date (with all the DLCs) and it's still broken. You had to reload missions too often for my taste (characters do not spawn, you fall through the floor, getting stuck in falling/sitting/aiming animation, hidden blade stop working, assassination target running away at the start of the mission). Story was meh, searching for all the treasures wasn't enjoyable at all. Coop was pretty much useless, i've beaten every coop mission in solo. Helix rifts were awful as well.

Not saying i hate this game or anything, but it got too many problems.

Assassin's Creed (i know it's a controversial opinion) and Assassin's Creed 2 are still great to this day.

anast919d ago

Unity was okay. I prefer Syndicate and Origins.
