"So, I’ll be honest with you, I’m new to these sort of games. I’ve never touched Demon’s Souls or Dark Souls – which is something that many will compare Lords of the Fallen too. And, in all honesty, you’re quite right. However, coming into City Interactive and Deck13’s new title as a bit of a ‘noob’ to the world of punishing RPG gameplay, I certainly wasn’t expecting something quite as merciless. Especially something that requires you to really know your weapons, armour and timing of strikes.
"As you can probably imagine, Lords of the Fallen is a hack and slash-styled RPG, although I wouldn’t advise going in so willy-nilly. Taking on the role of a bald-headded, face-tattooed convict by the name of Harkyn you’re off to defeat demons and gods who have entered the realm of mortals. So far, so RPG weird."
The Friend's Pass feature is now available for Lords of the Fallen, allowing players to co-op with another, even if they don't own the game.
I just bought it for 20$ and was hoping to find someone to play it with me. This will definitely make it easier to get someone to jump in with me

perfect example of when Mods are power hungry and think they are gods.
good on the devs.
Good. If the mods are going to be petty and strip the devs of admin powers then take the mods power away by removing the need for their subreddit entirely.
Stripping the devs permissions over this is incredibly petty, over such a tiny thing as well.
Lords of the Fallen Studio, CI Games has stated that they won't integrate DEI into its games as it's bad for players' enjoyment and success.
So the developers don't want to put human characters in their games that look like everyday people from all walks of life that everyone sees every time they walk out of their home. That seems like the actions of a Bigot.
DEI has done more harm than good in most media it's involved in, since those involved in including it don't care about games and just want to put their messaging in as many products as they can whether it's a good fit or not.
This is what I have learnt, people that cry about DEI don't care about the best people being hired, they just don't want to see black people, gay/trans, women and some other minorities with certain jobs. Politics are welcomed in games, those who say they don't want politics in their games, just mean, please don't put politics that hurt or trigger me in video games. As I said before, some of the biggest and most successful videos games are labeled as woke or from very pro diversity studios.
Remember when Space Marines 2 was called woke when it was revealed that one of the writers is trans? It somehow became anti-woke or anti-DEI when it became successful. Now what do you think the narrative would have been if it failed?
In my opinion Lords of the Fallen is worth a little more than 7,5/10. All of my firnds are delighted this game. We compare our stats and who can kill boss faster and without using potion:) This is chellanging game and I have a lot of fun with it.
Harkyn is badass, not only in appearance but also with how it was created. I like the way the fight, and music, and the whole look of the game really pulls!
