Agents of Storm is a new 3D strategy game for the iOS platform based off of the Unity 5 engine - making it one of the first Clashalikes ever to make use of the new Metal API for iOS 8. Your goal is to island hop across the map, collect gold, jade and diamonds, and invade hostile territory, disable their guns and destroy their territory, as well as to do the same thing to rival players, while building up your own base.
TouchArcade: Remedy Entertainment, known for making games like Alan Wake, the original Max Payne [$2.99] and the original Death Rally [$0.99], have just released their first mobile-exclusive game, Agents of Storm [Free] to the App Store. This is a take on the free-to-play base builder formula, but with a singleplayer focus: players build out a base with defenses and units, going out on missions with their units, as their units automatically attack, with the goal being to destroy the enemy base in each level. There are social hooks to get assistance from friends and compete to have the biggest and best base, but if you're the anti-social type, this may be for you, though this is a free-to-play game and requires online connectivity.
The strategy game Agents Of Storm will launch this week on the App Store
Enidmo writes: At this year's VGX, not only the excellent titles for PC were announced, there were also some anticipated games for mobile devices, for example the "Tales from the Borderlands" which is in development by Telltale and 2K Games. The first episode of this game will be released sometime in 2014, numerous classic roles including many familiar scenes will appear again in this game. Let's look forward to this Tales from the Borderlands remake in Telltale style.
