CraveOnline: "It’s scored so well that quite a few gamers have vocalized how surprised they have been with its reception, presumably because they expected less from it. Frankly, I’m surprised that they’re surprised."
Bayonetta's character design and abilities have changed a lot since the series debuted in 2009, with new costumes and dark arts in every title.
Many fans have been expressing their disappointment with Bayonetta 3. Here's why the recently released game is a clear step down from Bayonetta 2.
I thought they focused on big kaiju like fights which felt gimmicky and thy brought this new character in to try and get away from the leading star
*Spoilers*
I mean they pretty much killed 3 big characters. They killed Jeanne, Luka and Bayonetta herself and it's not the fact they died it's how they died, we've seen Jeanne and Bayonetta survive countless things yet they go out by the lamest ways possible.
Nintendo has updated Bayonetta 2 to version 1.2.0 and they have also shared the patch notes for this update on the Nintendo Switch.
"Bayonetta 2 Has Reminded Us That Ultimately Games Are About Having Fun"
Absolutely not. Games are about resolution and fps. 1080p/60fps FTW. /s
Did anyone really think Bayonetta 2 would score poorly? Reviewers loved the first game. Most people seemed to enjoy it, in general. It's a great game.
I think there are several titles that are incredibly fun AND look insane, but why focus on those when you can write articles about "the underdog"?
the first game was amazing, this looks better in every single aspect, cannot wait, this game, DK TF, MK8 and titanfall = Love
also WD and Infamous
i also got Evil Within on ps4, old school, the japanese vibe is back, ,don't get me wrong, i like western stuff a little but more than japanese stuff but without some nippon in the mix, gaming seem dead and vice versa
im getting dat ps2/GC/Xbox feel all over again
to me games like okami is the reason why i love games. nothing against bayoneta.
That's a pretty moot point, anything is 'fun' provided it appeals to you.
