Examiner: "Cross-generational games have been well documented by this point, and it's clear that there are always certain sacrifices that need to be made for the game to run acceptably on the weaker consoles. We spoke with Ubisoft regarding their upcoming MMO-esque racing title, The Crew which is launching on November 11 and the developers say it will suffer a similar fate."
The Outerhaven writes: With the closure of The Crew's online servers, Ubisoft has started removing access to the game from anyone who owns it on Ubisoft Connect.
I'm so done with Ubisoft, removing games one paid for is a new low...
Bye Ubisoft,
You've done f#c*ed it up !
I see they're trying their best to surpass Activision Blizzard for being the most hated gaming company. Keep at it, Ubisoft, I believe!
The series' next iteration is coming this year.
Now that we have great availability for GeForce GTX GPUs across retailers and at prices gamers can afford, there’s never been a better time to become a GeForce Gamer and ‘Join the Crew’.
This is the 1st I heard it was cross gen, what a bummer. I wouldn't get it on last gen anyways. Same reason I'm not getting AC rogue even though I think its going to be a great game. I'm going to be stuck waiting for the current gen version.
Any news on Ps4 version?
thats what they said for Watch Dogs and that was literally the same difference on last gen and next gen other than framerate dips.
Is the difference between PS4 and xbone version that huge ?
These cross gen games are holding back the current generation.
At least Ubisoft are doing it right with AC Unity.
