The Best Thing From Gamescom Will Destroy Gaming

Gamescom is a yearly video game convention that takes place in Cologne, Germany. It is the European version of e3, minus the Los Angeles backdrop of bums and hookers. I watched a lot of coverage this year as many of you did, I however can announce to the internet what I liked best and how it will destroy gaming.

So let me get this straight. The gamer for hire is going to destroy gaming? How exactly? Because people can pay other people to get trophies for them. In a way you can already do that but in a more insecure way. If people want to pay other people to complete their game for them then so be it. No doubt these pro gamers already play games. Our trophies and achievement have no real world merit. They are just that a record of your achievements.

They are not if I chose them not to be. This is like saying gaming will be destoryed by cheat codes or freely available game saves (the latter of which I needed for GTA4 since my file became corrupted). No it didn't ruin gaming and they were for free. If people want to pay they can but again where is the real world benefit of this? Your trophies and achievement do not give you monetary gains. Nor do it make sense to do so as all the benefits are purposely for the individual. This post is looking in the wrong place for a problem

This really doesn't sound like a big deal at all. You're trying to make it in to a big deal when realistically I doubt this would even effect 1% of gamers.

I'm pretty sure you would be logged into your account. Therefore said trophy would go to the profile that did the challenge. That's just my guess I could be wrong.

Really poor article, it's the fourth article I've read this week which seems to be written by a 13 year old. It's almost as if it was written for the purpose of being posted on N4G, at the end of the first (of many) paragraphs it sais "Hit the jump to find out" why would you include that in your main article? you don't need to hit anything, just scroll down slightly.

Microsoft had their own version of Share Play, that was the main reason for the controversy at their reveal. Everyone raged and cried about it until they removed it

If someone wants to pay someone else to get a trophy or achievement, that is their business.
Share Play could be a good thing as it allows a friend to play a portion of the full game. It may lead to that friend buying the game themselves.
I'm sure Microsoft will look at implementing their own version of this.

Coming from someone with 3 x1 n ps4 in the house, I disagree hate this, leave it the way it is now, $60 games will cost $75 plus cause they going to make there money..its bad bad for gamers, n all gamers is seeing is friend playing getting them dumbass in game crap!!!!
