Please bring it over, it looks like it's full of content.

i'm pretty sure it will come over, I just think that it's how he explained it. He wants it to be like an MMORPG where the game updates over time adding new things.

If we get everything at launch it'll just feel like a typical RPG and I guess he just wants to give the illusion of it being an MMORPG.

Sorry if I repeated myself throughout but I hope I explained it lol.

That is EXACTLY how they distributed content on the White Knight Chronicles games and the west ended up missing out on a lot of the content (that was already on the disc waiting to be unlocked) because of it.
They'd release something new every week but they didn't release some of the final content because it still needed to be translated and they lost interest in supporting the U.S. and EU version.

Not saying that will happen here, I don't like they have the same publishers and it's definitely not the same developers, but nothing is guaranteed.

I'm gonna pick this game up when the PS Tv launches here in the U.S. ^_^

@FamilyGuy

ooooh I didn't know that!

Well hopefully it doesn't happen since it seems like the anime had a good debut in the US!

It includes 30 hours of additional content and they are going to "consider" bringing it over? I had figured on getting this, but I suppose now I will have to wait and see what happens.

zippycup3605d ago

why wait the regular game looks great if they bring the update good if not we will atleast have some of it

jonatan2213605d ago

Like I replied to the comment above you, I'm almost certain it will come over just not right away because as he described in the article, he wants it to feel like an MMORPG by having updates over time.

Beetey3605d ago

I'm guessing you are correct, but his comments really didn't inspire much confidence.

jonatan2213605d ago

Yeah, I can see that. But let's be hopeful!

I think he just wants to see people buying it and supporting it before he commits himself to translating a game that MIGHT not get support ( though I think it will do well!)

"Sword Art Online: Hollow Fragment comes out on August 19" "The update won’t be built into the Western release..."
so its probably DLC later. after the game launches.

10 PlayStation Vita Sales Success Stories

VGChartz's Adam Cartwright: "A recent piece of news doing the rounds revealed the PlayStation Vita’s top 10 selling games in the United States of America, and it makes for some grim reading. While Uncharted: Golden Abyss rightfully tops the list, it only managed to shift a little more than 400k copies in the States, which is low by the series’ standards and paints a dire picture overall given that it's above all other AAA titles on the list, including Assassin’s Creed III: Liberation, Call of Duty: Black Ops Declassified, and Ki llzone Mercenary (although it’s worth noting that this top 10 doesn’t include any bundled software, otherwise  Borderlands 2 would be at the top and Call of Duty at #2)."

I would think Uncharted Abyss and Killzone Mercenaries should be included in the list.

10 Franchises That Flourished on Vita

VGChartz's Adam Cartwright: "the handheld was unable to attract certain types of software – western AAA development quickly evaporated, as did Sony’s own support, because there weren’t enough consoles out there for such titles to be profitable. But that doesn’t mean that every publisher failed to find success. Indeed, there are a number of franchises out there that have been able to appeal to the Vita’s niche and which have seen positive sales numbers and critical reception, leading to them becoming mainstays on the handheld.

It’s these series that I intend to examine in more depth this article – what they are, what entries we’ve seen, what success they’ve had, and what it’s meant for the console’s future. I’ll be using known sales figures where possible to back things up, hopefully demonstrating that the Vita has been a solid home for a number of great series despite its otherwise weak commercial performance on the market."
