World of Warcraft gamer kidnaps underage player

Morgan Douglas Jones was arrested on kidnapping charges when Saddie "Elaine" Julian, just 14 years old, ran away with him on a trip from Boise, Idaho to Franklin County, Washington. That's where Jones was ultimately arrested and Julian was recovered safely. According to police detectives, the two had met in World of Warcraft. Jones is 27 years old and apparently the police get all uptight about you transporting girls half your age across state lines.

An Amber Alert was issued for Julian last week, but authorities caught up with the two alleged WoW fans earlier today. Incidentally, Jones was driving a 2008 Chevy Aveo with the license plate OMGROFL. True story. It's one of those rare runaway/kidnapping situations we can all laugh about. Good times.

Even if they do crack down all a person needs is an Everdrive and a regular old school machine. Or modify a disc based console that has a dead laser to boot off an SD card. Some of those illegal devices look neat and some of them are just plain crap.

This won't stop it unless you have a great service.

What a stupid thing to be wasting time, money and effort. Aren't these guys literally drowning right now? Maybe y'all should focus more on that instead trying to stop people from playing old games no longer being sold.

Pretty sure I've read and seen parts of Italy experiences/ing pretty bad floodings. Id argue that's more important than trying to prevent the sale of emulation devices.
