Capcom just announced Dead Rising 3 for our beloved platform PC. Want to know whether or not your PC will be able to run the game? here are the minimum and recommended PC specs for Dead Rising 3.

Nice, I easily meet the recommended ones. DR3 was the only X1 exclusive I wanted to play last year so I'll probably get it sooner or later...should be enjoyable to play this without all the technical issues of the X1 version.

This game was a great launch tittle. However, the game loses its survival feeling when you max out the character. I mean, having an overpowered character isn't always fun.

Dead Rising 3 is definitely more graphically intense than Watch dogs was. that's pretty sad for watch dogs.

No, that's pretty sad for Dead Rising. Poor optimization makes a game more graphically intense. Watch Dogs itself looks better then Dead Rising.

To be safe, I'm going to settle on a 4GB GTX 770.

If there's anything that should be able to carry you through this entire generation, it's a GTX 770.

I built my new rig a few months back and choose a 4gb 770. So far I've had no problems with it.

Whoa! A GTX 570/HD 7870 as a minimum requirement? That's a bit steep. Isn't the XBO's GPU much, much weaker than that? Heck, the minimum GPU requirement is even higher than Watch_Dogs...

1280 x 720, less than 30FPS, and lots of tearing.

It was a launch title which explains some of the problems on Xbox One, but Xbox One barely ran it so to get decent (say 1080p) performance on PC you'll need a much better system than Xbox One is.

GTX570 and Radeon 7870 are roughly twice as fast as Xbox One's GPU, so they should offer good performance on this game.

I'm glad PC gamers can experience this fun game. Hopefully PS4 owners can experience it soon but we'll see. Loved it on Xbox One and I may get it on PC when it's quite cheap.

Man, pc gaming is on the rise. If Microsoft wants to keep allowing their Xbox exclusives on Pc, I am more than willing to give them my money. Now I wonder if this will continue with forza and halo. Hopefully Sony gives pc uncharted and tlou. Pc gamers will raise their profits to new heights.

This is a third party games. 1st party games from MS and especially Sony will NEVER make it to the PC. Simple as that.

I don't know if I'd call this PC gaming on the rise. It's good, (makes me feel like I wasted money buying an XboxOne when the games I wanted to play are and will be on PC also) but how about more PC games in the WRPG/ JRPG/ and Third Person Shooter genres that are must have and can't be run on any other platform. I'd call that a pretty good step forward.

PC gaming is not about leaving people out. The reason why there are exclusives is because of console sales. They are an incentive to buy a certain console. The incentives to play on PC are so much more than exclusivity. Oh, you're not buying my console? Fine, then you can't play my game. Sounds very childish to me but business be like that sometimes. But the fact that games that we thought to be exclusives are coming out on PC indicates that devs are learning that money is to be made from PC. That is why this only points to great things for PC. We are even getting the next mortal Kombat which is not a big deal to console gamers but on PC, that game was no where to be found before. It's a very nice trend for PC gamers. I am sure that microsoft will be preparing some epic exclusives though, so don't worry. I do expect the sony guys to give you shit but it's just things that we have to grow out of as a community.

Exactly! Well it doesn't surprise me though, a lot of the guys saying that obviously, don't have xb1's which explains why they are saying that it runs bad. Most of them seem to be going by what they hear here on n4g. The game runs fine!

Also 720p does not mean that the game runs bad. It means that it is not 1080p.

Fact it's 720p
Fact it averages below 30FPS including dips into the teens.

You may find that playable and fun. More power to you. But the facts are the facts.

Most people know 60 FPS is much better then 30FPS, and 30 FPS is much better then 15-25 FPS.

Alot of people said 480p was fine at the beginning of 360/PS3 era, just like a lot are trying to claim 720p is fine now. It isn't.

Now can we have fun playing games that run poor, sure. But if the XB1 could play the game at 1080/60 you would find that much more enjoyable of an experience.

720p is the hint that there isn't enough power to run the game, thus yes, it does run badly. No one chooses 720p unless they don't have the power to run it higher. The fact that you have resolution and framerate issues, is telling. 720p is the bare minimum for HD, and is a 2005 resolution. The fact the game runs poorly at a 2005 resolution is another hint.

I'm sure you had fun. I'm sure others can too. But the difference between 720p 15-25 FPS to 1080p 60 FPS is massive. If you want to say the Geo Metro has enough power to get you places, you may be right in the base sense. But it doesn't have the power you want, or in some circumstances, need.

In the end this game will be played at 1080p/60 and far beyond on PC and the XB1 version will pale in comparison. It'll be the same game, with the same zombies, but the PC version will look and run like a dream, whereas the XB1 version clearly didn't.

The statement that the game currently runs like crap. So what you are essentially saying is that since the game runs will run at 1080p 60fps on pc, the xbox version runs like crap?? I guess with that logic, Watchdogs on the ps4 and xb1 run like crap too huh? Same with Wolfenstein and other multiplate games right??

I am not saying that the game does not look and play smoother on pc's. What I am saying is that they do not "run like crap".

Actually Watch Dogs on PC runs like shit, a GTX Titan can't even average 60fps at 1080p with 4xAA. Not saying it's better on PS4/One but it's definitely less than great on PC.

I'm not even saying that Dead Rising 3 isn't worth playing on Xbox One, it's just that performance wise it leaves a lot to be desired when it is on a new $500 console.

What is happening! Console owners, mostly the xb1 owners are actually telling nice stuff like we enjoyed it on xb1 so you will enjoy it on pc etc., unbelivable. From what i know and seen shouldn't most people be like consoles rock, pc suck, u dont have gta v, blah blah etc.. Or is that atitude exclusive to ps fanboys. This nice atitude is making me question myself, was i wrong all this time. Is it possible for console owners to be nice, is it actually possible for them to have actual, rational conversations!?.
