Oki thats fine but I need new info about Tomb Raider 2😉

Agree, that "a survivor is born" tagline at the end really makes me wanting for more TR

Tomb Raider was one hell of a mediocre game, but I guess the reason why people glorify it is because it had, well, "emoootiooons" that added a sort of delusional maturity to it. Such emotions as presented in this game were already achieved by cinema around 50 years ago, or more. And better. TR wasn't even decent in that matter, considering the utterly bullsh*t story and ridiculous character relationships. Voice-acting was alright, I gotta give it, but it didn't do much help to the horrible script. Gameplay-wise it was a very simple third-person shooter like any other, with some pseudo-stealth moments, pseudo-survival elements, pseudo-RPG skills, and Uncharted-like super-scripted explosions every 5 minutes to keep ignorant consumers happy and eager for another sequel of this overrated franchise.

Thank you.

My god you are a miserable person. Every comment you make is negative. Change your outlook.

I think the game needed more content and felt like it was pretty barebones, but the game was not mediocre it had solid gameplay, great visuals, good character development for Lara and the story telling was not bad either

Magicite4035d ago

You know, they actually need not name it TR2, cos it might be confusing.

The Last Stand: Fungus zombies.

A fresh new IP that might borrow a little bit from Naughty Dog.

LexHazard794035d ago

Man I hope its Legacy of Kain.

renerak4035d ago

Maybe someday, and hopefully a reboot cause i don't want them touching the concluded story of Raziel and Kain. But currently its a new ip so... no.

That's not even a good template 😞 ugh this is gonna suck

Killer2020UK247d ago

What's gonna suck?

This is an opinion piece that has zero bearing on production of the hypothetical 12th installment of Tomb Raider.

Sciurus_vulgaris248d ago

The animated Netflix series is a sequel to Shadow of the Tomb Raider. Also, Netflix distributed this show, the company uses external production companies for most of its content. The show doesn’t provide a template for Crystal Dynamics [who was credited in production of the show], the Lara in the show is the one from the 2013 reboot series, and wasn’t reimagined for the show.

A perfect buleprint to be considered for awards you mean. Yeah, this will pander perfectly.

SimpleDad247d ago

If they want to lose money... sure, the blueprint is perfect.
