IR: "Over the past few months, we have waited in anticipation for one of the most inventive looking games to come out, and we have to bide our time by watching many Watch Dogs comparison videos, which range from comparing the lighting, graphics, and gameplay, and granted that the emphasis was more on the graphics."
If you are looking for a bargain, check out the huge discounts across the entire WatchDogs series on Steam.
With the world of information and technology, privacy and security growing every day, Watch Dogs deserves another chance in the spotlight, now more than ever.
The only Ubi title that deserves a faithful remake right now is Splinter Cell 1.
All 2014+ Ubi titles are just underwhelming. Especially ones from 2016+ are just cancer.
The fist watchdog game was the best by far
After that they weren't weird and annoying with that hipster stuff. Aiden was a badass.
From VG247: "When cars slide, they leave tyre marks. In a game like Driver, they’re an aesthetic touch, part of the inherent cool of a handbrake turn. But those dark shadows in the road also tell a story. From tyre marks, you can determine the speed of a vehicle, when it started to skid, and its ultimate direction of travel – long after the car itself has vanished into the distance."
Why did they stop making some of the best games ever? Driver was one of them.
A story driven game with pure driving gameplay. I'd love to see a new Driver game or a remake of the first one.
all i see in comparisons is PS4 have darker colors and X1 have more vivid ones , of course PS4 have better resolution but there are really not difference between them ...
Another comparison that shows little to no difference between gen 8 consoles. The only time you can see a difference is when compared to older consoles, and slightly when compared to PC.
That being said, this video is horrible for comparisons. The video is almost never looking at the same thing, or even in the same lighting, whoever is controlling the characters is just moving the screen like a madman, and it's on YouTube. All I know is that I've been playing this game since it released, and it looks great and plays great. In reality, the only thing that has been proven by all these comparison videos is that no matter how you get it, you'll enjoy it, and in a blind test, you wouldn't be able to tell which console you're playing on (within gen of course).
Just go and enjoy this game...I get lost for hours doing nothing in it except hacking people haha...I think I'm only like 2 or 3 missions into the game (I just did the one that gives you access to all the ctOS towers) and I keep running around doing side stuff....that's always my downfall in open world games...stupid gamer OCD!!!
@Infected, you're trying too hard bud, let it go. I've had the game since the midnight release, and I haven't had even the slightest screen-tear or glitch, the way you're trying so hard to claim a victor in this makes me think you haven't actually played it on both...there is nothing wrong with the X1 version at all, but if someone was to take your advice they'd end up thinking the X1 version is just a hot mess, and it's simply not true. Let it go, you're wasting time you could be playing the game.
Side note: is this the comparison you are referring to? "The surprise is how close the pared-down Xbox One game compares; after Titanfall's aliasing issues, we had concerns about Watch Dogs' visual presentation, but it manages to acquit itself rather well overall, as the shots below should demonstrate." ...cause while they do point out that the v-sync is the major difference between the two...they do also mention that it's very rare. Even they are saying the differences aren't a big deal and not common.
