VRFocus - Indie developer Mike Bithell is currently working on a prototype of a possible new videogame using the Oculus Rift virtual reality (VR) headset. Bithell has spent the past weekend working on a new design idea that is ‘inspired by Zelda mechanics’, which came to him last week. Since then the developer has provided a few updates on the project’s progress, including a very early screenshot which can be seen below. It is not currently clear if the project might ever see a full release.
Morels: Homestead, a relaxing game in which you can create your own unique homestead, is available now for PC VR.
Electronic Arts has confirmed that while F1 23 will support PC VR it will not support PSVR 2 on PlayStation 5.
That's fine. GT7 would overshadow it anyway at it has open wheel and regular cars.
Should have been spending their time updating Squadrons with better resolution, frame rate, haptics, etc as there isn't a game like that on PS VR 2 yet.
But it's EA. They don't think.
A wasted opportunity, but I don't buy EA / Codemasters stuff anyway. Grid Legends just came out on Plus and I haven't touched it. Why would I when I have GT7 and PSVR2?
Here's a forgotten VR gem for you from 2019. Epic Games' action-packed Robo Recall, which is also available for Quest 2.
Although I never owned an oculus, I played the demo for this at an electronics store. Pretty impressive in an early goings of VR title.
Thomas Was Alone was a great title, I really enjoyed it, my missis came into the room this one time whilst I was playing it "what are you playing?", "Thomas Was Alone", "but your a square?" "yeahhh I know, it's great"
I wonder if there would be any copyright infridgment according to law if someone decided to create a game with the title LEGEND OF ZELDA, followed by really small print "inspired game".
