Whilst Mark Kerry may be a massive fan of Respawn Gaming's Titanfall, he can't help but see some deep flaws and discusses what's wrong with Titanfall
In a simple and concise post on Twitter, head of Respawn Entertainment Vince Zampella responded to fan requests for a Titanfall x Helldivers 2 crossover two love heart emojis, praising the idea.
Popularized by Doom in 1993 and still making video game haters gnash their teeth today, first-person shooter games are the best thing to happen to gamers since pizza rolls. So here are 15 underrated first-person shooter games you may have missed.
Although the late 2000s Turok wasn't my favorite, I would love a new entry. Open world survival with shotguns and dinosaurs. Not sure how we'd get the fusion cannon, but that would be pretty sweet too.
Lol
All of these games are pretty much universally praised. Outside of Timeshift I literally own all of these.
XIII, The Darkness 2, Far Cry: Blood Dragon, Timesplitters: future perfect, Bulletstorm are awesome games
I played them all, they are all good in their own way
I used to be obsessed with FPS games
Windows Central: "Titanfall 1 is being sunset, taken off storefronts by EA. While the servers remain live for now, one has to wonder just how much time it has left. I look back and pay tribute to the last "twitch"-styled shooter I ever truly loved."
I love this game, but I do agree that it has a few areas that need work. Hopefully these will come via updates and the game will evolve in to something that offers a more complete MP experience.
Although I would like to see more Titan models, I am pretty happy with the Ogre setup I have. Once you unlock all the weapons and perks, it's a pretty satisfying Titan to use.
I'd like to see a bit more variation on the map design as they all seem very similar to me, but as I said before, I'm sure we will get plenty more maps in future.
I like Titanfall, but it's the Chinese food of gaming. I'm left feeling empty and wanting to stuff myself with something more.
We heard for years that the guys that became Respawn wanted to make a sci-Fi shooter, so it's safe to say that Titanfall was that idea. But why does it lack so much in the way of depth, features, modes and more?
I like it! Smooth as butter on the PC and plays great, but it all feels so shallow.
I wish I even gave one fuck about Titanfall. I was swept up in the pre-release hype, but didn't end up picking up the game. Now I doubt I ever will. It seems to have dropped off the gaming map really quickly; from what I gather the lack of full single player experience seems to have hurt it.
I am waiting for the price to come down before I get it for PC....I have read all about the lack of depth and it has put me off playing it.
You would expect more multiplayer options for an online only game surely?
Titanfall is great, and is evolving into an awesome game! For those disappointed with lack of modes/story....Respawn can/will shoehorn stuff in as and when.
Okies, so a separate SP would be cool, but does TF really need a full SP mode? Infamous doesn't need MP either.
Some folks can never be happy, always looking for the next big complaint ;/ Anyways, TF is superfun IMO :)
